Hey all --

* Sorry, kinda rambled here... I bolded the important main question below

So my Xbox360 HDD is dying a slow death.   A few months ago, everything kinda slowed to a hault... and going into system-storage-hdd area (where it shows what you have saved to hdd) took about 5 full minutes just to load up.

So I transfered what I could to the cloud and reformmated... Oh yeah, found that ME2 was the only damn game that wouldn't allow me to copy to the cloud, so I lost that info, just a month or two before ME3 came out... awesome, I know.

So after reformating, I was able to to import my ME1 info over to ME2 no problems... then I ran thru ME2 so I could have an import ready for ME3.  Everything went well, and I was able to get thru ME3 without any technical problems.

But my HDD is dying out on me again... So I obviously need to buy a new one.  But I'm stressed out about it because of my ME2-3 saves not being able to be transferred to the cloud.

Is there a concrete list of steps to follow in order to save my ME2-3 info on a flash-drive so I can have all my info ready when I install the NEW hard drive?  The Xbox itself will be the same, just the HDD is being replaced.  Or am I screwed?  I know IGN posted something about how to do it, but I don't trust in their technical expertise since their War Assets in regards to ME3 Endings list was a little flawed.

When you do get a new hdd there should be a cable with it that allows you to transfer all data on the existing hard drive to the new one. The only problem with this is DLC will need to be redownloaded if you want to play it while the xbox is not connected to the internet. I have done this before and did not damage any saves at all. Im not sure about flash drive transfers at all sorry. But it may be wise to at least make a copy on one in case things go wrong. Hope that helps.

Edit: Oh, best to ask in store if the HDD you are buying comes with a transfer cable. They should be able to tell you. As far as I know they all do. Best of luck.

Thanks for the reply --- but I'll probably either buy a used or a 3rd party hard drive (I'm on my 3rd Xbox... sick of spending money on this damn thing)... So I doubt I'll get a transfer cable with it.

Might just have to take my chances with usb stick --- Bioware tech support chat was useless. :(
