I'm not sure why you are asking those questions when you, yourself, acknowledged they were answered. Patrick Tweeted that Mac wrote the ending, so that's one. And Geoff already said he doesn't know anything about the peer review question, so that's two. I saw Patrick's tweet myself.
Want a more definitive answer tbh. While you are right, it's more thank likely true at this point. Would be nice to hear it from someone directly. Plus..if he was around during the ending, why not?
A more definitive answer?? I just told you that Geoff already answered the question.....he doesn't know! And you can look at the tweet from Patrick all day long and see that he said Mac wrote the ending, it's not like he deleted it. It's still there. Patrick works for Bioware, do you think he is lying? A journalist is going to give you a more definitive answer than a writer at Bioware?
Here is Geoff's response again:
"bucyrus5000 - I'm not sure why I keep getting asked this "skipping the peer review" process question. Was it reported somewhere? I'm not aware of anything skipping any process."
There is both of your answers. How much more direct can they be? Are you expecting someone to deliver the information to your door via singing telagram?

Geoff, a favor - if you have any plans to discuss the ME3 ending controversy on the next set of Bonus Rounds episodes, can you please not have Jeff Gerstmann on the panel? I don't mind him having an opinion, it's his lack of integrity when it comes to this issue that I have a problem with. Actually, Erik Kain from Forbes, if you can get him, would be great to have on as he's done some great work on the subject and of course Pach is a must.
Him or Paul Tassi (from Forbes as well).

Hi everyone -
This is Geoff Keighley, the author of The Final Hours of Mass Effect 3. I thought I'd stop by the forum to answer any questions you have about the app and the story, which is now out for iPad and also PC/Mac. (You can see more details at http://www.me3finalhours.com).
I'd love to hear what you think of the story! I'll try to respond to as many of you as possible.
Geoff

I didn't read his reply where he said he didn't know.
No need to get bent out of shape. You act like we have a limited amount of questions we are allowed to ask. People have been asking their questions, and Geoff has come back later and replied in bulk.
Since he was there in the final days of the game being made, I was just curious what he knew about how the actual ending was created and handled within their process. But you are right, based on what he said it seems he has no clue about the peer review process or whether the ending got input or not.

Thank you for taking you're time to answer some of these (most/all) questions. Here is mine that I would like to ask.
With the Inodctrination Theory circling about through the vocal minority, how come no one looks at the Codex? It cleary tells the player what Inodctrination does and Shepard has none of the side effects. If you can, why did Bioware attempt to use Psychology when the fan base can not grasp it?
Once again, thank you for you're time.

1. What can we expect from the next update
2. Did you personally like the ending , and what did you think of the small sequence where shep breaths

But I confirmed he said that earlier in the thread when I responded to you the first time. Why would I lie when you could just go back and check yourself?
And the second part of your question can be answered by going to Patrick Weekes' Twitter and looking at the responses on March 10.

I see that the project was running late. Would you say that the quality of the ending was directly impacted by a set limit on how much time/funding they were given to wrap up the project? Anything else you can share in that regard? Would you say that the BioWare team was put in a situation (with regards to producing the ending) that they would not have desired?

Just wanted to say I enjoyed the app. Read it on my Kindle so I missed the pics but it was interesting and informative.
Thanks for stopping by.

@Geoff: You can ignore all of the comments about the app being free or asking why you are charging for it. Those people are confusing you for a Bioware dev and not a journalist. They are actually talking about future ME DLC, not your app update. In other words.....many people seem to be allergic to READING THE OP.
That, or they just need to go to the center for kids who can't read good.

I just wanted to say that I enjoyed the app and thought that it was well done (I also have the Portal 2 Final Hours app and found it to be a good read). I was wondering what your impression was of the various characters' story arcs in ME3 (if you've played through with your own imported saves) - basically whether or not you found them emotionally compelling overall. For example, I thought Mordin's arc on Tuchanka was quite strong with an ending that was rather moving, and to me, the game seemed to have quite a few emotional highs and lows on that level.
Oh, and just one teensy thing, but I think "airplane at the hanger" needs to be changed to "airplane at the hangar" in the app (in the "The Letter on the Door" section, page 2) when you do a future update. My job makes me a bit OCD about this kind of thing, heh.

Where can I get a straight answer from someone on the Bioware team about whether or not Indoctrination Theory is true? I need to know for sure so I can either get back to enjoying the series or move on with my life... Forgive my bluntness but I'm stuck here in limbo.
Your question is much valid.
The ending has put a lot of ME fans in a limbo.

I liked your Portal 2 app and this one as well (though reading the Kindle version on the cloud is just text). But as much as I feel bad for BioWare considering the shellacking they got, they have no one to blame but themselves.
I hope your update will have a happy ending, but don't be surprised if that chapter ends up being about the endings and the level of vitriol directed at its authors. Perhaps no ending could have lived up to what we expected, but this feels like they didn't even try.
Thanks for taking the time to talk to us.
