ok bought ghostbusters the game today and to my suprise it is actually ok. a good way to kill a few hours anyway.

question to the OT forumites is what other unexpected games have you heard of/bought and found that they are actually decent games or majorly underrated??

Sorry, I had to. Anyway, I find it hard to find underrated games. Normally, if a game is good, it is more likely to be overrated then underrated. I suppose you could find games that are rated at like 5-20% when they really should be more like 30%, but I assume that isn't the kind of underrated you were looking for.

I think a game that was underrated was actually FF6. It had some more unique plot elements then most FF's but it was overshadowed by the pure popularity of FF7. Kefka was one of the most unique villains they have ever made when it comes to a design point of view. He was also just pure bad ass. The Esper story line was also really cool. The game did get disconnected towards the end though, which Is why I think it fell in so many ways. Considering they designed that a little better, I would say it would have probably been the best FF. I still think that people don't give it justice for what it did though.

I loved FF6. Story and music were the best in my opinion, as far as FF goes.
