Do you max this on your Vanguard just for the team? If I have Incidinary Round on my gun can I still benefit from the damage to chilled targets?

Yes. I used Cryo pretty much all the time and when I got to heavy armored units I switched to Incendiary.
Cryo is excellent crowd control when you have a high chance to freeze or slow. You can neutralize groups quickly by jumping targets and prevent grenade tosses.
I maxed out both in my Vanguard run.

by the way, i made a thread about this weapon combo, but no one has replied.
If you hit a target with a sticky grenade from a cryo ammo augmented scorpion, the sticky grenade snap freezes the target on contact, and then explodes. I want to know if the explosion will end up dealing more damage.

cryo always seemed like a crap skill for me, useless in higher difficulties
