They are gone, and I'm about to finish a paragon of her kind, and go to the landsmeet, is there a way to get it back? Seeing as how I paid good mioney for it and all.
O.K. so where did soldiers peak, and all my gear go?

What do you mean by gone? Is it still showing up under downloadable content?

Not sure, I saved a game, then starfang and my mage's staff was gone, I checked the world map, and soldiers peak is gone as well.

I had this happen to me as well. I clicked Resume to continue my game, but I'm guessing the game didn't finish checking to make sure my DLC was "valid". Didn't see that my "un-authorised" gear was gone, walked a little until it did an auto-save, started a fight and wondered why my mage was suddenly running into the middle of the fight to punch something... which is when I found that all of my DLC stuff was gone (gear, locations, quests, everything...). I had to go back to the main menu, log out, log back in, and resume from an older save that still had my gear. Once it saves with that DLC gear missing, it's removed from that save entirely.
The DLC validation idea is a complete pain in the ass.

I totally agree, im having the same problem with 'The Stone Warden' suddenly and for no apparent reason becoming unauthorised.

Strangely enough that worked, thankfully I had a save not too far back. After I logged off I got the new quest soldiers peak message, then immediately the quest completed message. I then found a save where I had the weapons, so far so good. Thanks for the advice.

As usual, anti-piracy measures penalise the paying customer most. EA. "It's _Not_ in the game!"

Same problem with gear disappearing. I have to go back several hours in game play to find a save where it still exist. Sucks

(!) Apparently the DLC are like a mmo now, you have to rebuy them each month to use.
Its probably the authorisation server timing out being overloaded, or something?

This happened to me, i didn't realise until a day later so I've lost everything. Now when i go talk to shale in the camp it asks me to say the activation password and then goes weird.
What's the point of DLC if it randomly removes it from the game because it thinks your a pirate

My DLC, namely blood armor, is randomly disappearing as well. The game always shows it as installed and authorized, yet on loading a saved game I notice that either my char is suddenly naked, or that the dwarven merchand at the camp has lost the second set, or whatever. All without notice, of course. I've tried deactivating/reactivating, deleting/reinstalling the DLC, nothing helps, once it's gone from the save file, it's gone. The game is hideously stealing paid content.
This DLC mechanism is a total pain in the a**, I'm always losing several hours of gameplay because I have to reload some old savegame that still has the stuff. I'm spending way too much time always checking if my stuff is still there. Two steps ahead, on step back all the time.
Whoever came up with this concept should be hanged, drawn and quartered. Not only does an honest customer like me have to go through a ton of security mechanisms (DVD in drive, registering on this site, entering long codes, being online all the time, restarting the §"$§$ update service every time the game reloads), this masterpiece of interwoven, online, realtime, high-end security doesn't even "§$"§$ work!!!! In the end, this is totally ruining my gaming experience, apart from the fact that I paid extra cash for the collectors edition. What's next, a self-destructing DVD?
Sorry for being polemic. How can Bioware expect anybody to go ahead pay even MORE for additional DLC?

This reminds me, I watched my bro download Dragon Age through the EA Download Manager (he bought the deluxe digital edition) and I noticed his other games like Spore and Mass Effect were gone from list which he also bought digital download versions when they came out. I was like dude wheres your Spore, he said he didn't know. I searched around a bit apparently the games are only available for download for 1 year then its gone from the download manager and you have to rebuy it I if you happen to have uninstalled it? Or he reached his activation limit or what?

Datamath, You hit the nail on the head man. I am truly disappointing by the amazingly stupid security precautions that turn an otherwise excellent game into a complete disaster for honest, paid in full, gamers and adventurers. This is has been a very sad & disappointing ending to an otherwise good game.

Same thing happened to me. I hadn't even been there yet. It just disappeared off the map. Logging off/on has no effect.
I wish Bioware would not partner with EA.

Four days passed after submitting a 'question' on EA's "customer support", didn't even get an answer...
