Hi all,
I'm trying to apply the Dagger patch (the one without the ranged adjustment) and I'm not sure which override folder to put it in.
I'm only just started playing Dragon Age: Origin (digital deluxe edition) on Steam and Window 7 (Home Premium). I noticed that there are 2 override folders:
1) Documents>Bioware>Dragon Age>packages>core>override
2) the other is in the actual game folder in steam where it also has packages>core but no override folder
I thought obviously since option (1) has the override folder, it should be it, but I noticed that the data folder in option (1) is empty so I'm not even sure if the game actaully uses it. Option (2) being the actual game fodler obviously has a ton of stuff in it, but no override folder.
So which one whould I use?
Thanks ppl!

Try 1. If it fails use 2. You need to manually create the override directory. You had to create it back in BG2 days, must be Bioware nostalgia

C:\\Documents and Settings\\USERNAME\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core\\override
ive got steam and this folder works for me.
But you cant use that folder for *.dazip files.
C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\dragon age origins\\bin_ship\\daupdater.exe
this program is used if you want to add a mod that comes in an *.dazip file.
you may have to close steam before it works.
