I am having problems with movement. Every now and again Shepherd walks a step and then stops and I have to pummel the w to get him going again and then he moves just another step and stops - he has also got stuck near a wall where there were no obstacles and once even slithered up on top of a wall and I couldn't get him down again. I am at the beginning of the game and will get wiped out in battle if I dont fix this problem but I don't have much (any) technical knowledge. I also notice that in battle the targeting gets sticky making it almost impossible to hit a target - which also gets me killed. It is not fatal at this point - I had a similar (walking) problems develop in ME 1 later in the game. I deleted a lot of saved games and that seemed to help a little but it really spoils the game. Any suggestions welcome - but baby language please. I have had no problems playing witcher 2 and dragonage so my computer must be up to the job - this is not a new game. It is so frustrating trying to get him to move - especially in battle where he is a sitting duck. I couldnt import my character from ME1 so I am having to start from scratch again and he is sooooo weak at present. Any suggestions?

Okay inserting brand new batteries in the wireless keyboard has helped - suddenly Shepherd found out how to walk again. There was nothing wrong with the batteries in the keyboard - fine for everyday use but it seems one must have fully charged batteries to play games. It seems to be a wireless keyboard/mouse issue so I have bought a wired keyboard/mouse. I will add a comment if this doesn't work.

Changing to a wired keyboard and mouse is the answer. All the problems that were driving me to drink have gone - wireless keyboard and mouse are packed away for eternity!
