All I would like is to storm the black city and turn it to the golden city again I know I am asking a lot but just think on it and you will see it would be awesome to take back the black city.
Heh, I suspect this will indeed happen at some point in the future. However, it really seems like a pinnacle moment that is more likely to happen right at the end of the series, which I sincerely hope is not the next game!

1. I don't mind the Mage/Templar central conflict and have a hard time fathoming how you could possibly remove it and stay firmly within the world that you've already built. There should, however, be more to life than this singular conflict.
2. Please, please, please do not make Dragon Age 3 a movie the way you did with Mass Effect 3. My character should have significant choices in how they respond during most, if not all, conversations. Replay value was drastically reduced in Mass Effect 3 because most interactions were identical regardless of how you'd played your character in the past. A token choice is not a choice.
3. Please keep the event-based interactions between character that was present in Dragon Age 2 rather than the "you can go through this whole relationship the first time you hit camp" aspect of Origins.
4. I concur with so many others that the ability to equip my party members is important.
5. I prefer the hardened/not hardened character development for party members that was present in Origins to the loyalty missions of Mass Effect.
6. More rounded party possibilities please. I hate feeling like I have to play a particular class because I won't get a party member of a different class for the first two or three hours of the game.
7. Different endings for different game choices - and please don't recycle the same scene with different characters. It's annoying when you get exactly the same dialogue in a cutscene no matter who you've chosen as your party members.
One of the truly great accomplishments of Origins was the ability to literally play a background and see it impact the story in different ways. I've not seen that in any other game. As a result, I've played Origins through to completion more times than I've played any other game.
Not that this is probably programming feasible, but I would love the chance to import either my warden or Hawke and play through a conflict in a different place as each of them.

I liked the names and in-depth stats of DA:O items, should go back to that

-FINISH THE GAME BEFORE RELEASING (less map reuse, more details for items, etc)
-cut down on waves of enemies
-no enemies appearing out of thin air (unless it makes sense like a spirit or mage)
-fix friendship/rivalry system to make more sense

1. Character creation.
-more hairstyles, add body tattoos, more unique armor, be able to change body features, RACE SELECTION, add a new race even? Make hair move around when you move, have funky colors for hair-maybe color sliders. LONG hair, piercings and jewelry. sexier/ cooler non-armor outfits, change colors and fabrics.
2. Followers
- Make them cooler! In depth personalities, more followers to choose from, be able to kick anyone out of the group any time, All new companions! only a like/ dislike scale, no friend/ rival crap. too confusing! talk to them anytime you want and make them have a lot more to say. Better, more mature LI's. all in all, just more unique personalities. also, have them say more to each other.
3. NPC's- be able to actually talk to more of them. have a bunch more random passers-by that do funny and random things. maybe they can recognize you and shout hello to you or you hear them gossiping abojt you and other things. they should react if you start a brawl in the middle of the street.
4. speaking/dialogue-
- No generalizations- no wheel. bring back the list of responses. select speaking protag. vs. non- speaking in options menu. Have a selection of like 4 voices for both male and female players. great voice acting. more emotion!!
5. Story
- Apocalyptic. mages vs. templars and ensuing violence causes wide- spread destrucion and you are the one who will save it- or conquer it. survival; make it feel big and important and dramatic. see the consequences of your choices. your journey takes you to many different places, instead of just one city. more nature. more adult themes.
6. Gameplay/ combat
- more free- roaming feel. no having to travel on one path all the time. more fun types of quests, close over-the- shoulder camera in battle and when roaming around. you can push a button in battle to bring up strategy mode, to see the area of battle to issue commands. free- moving characters. move and fight with more agility and fluidity. be able to jump and climb. no over- large anime- style swords. better physics. be able to go into more buildings. shared campground like in da 1, but it looks different when you go to a different place. no having to wait to use potions. swimming, be able to name your weapons, create your own spells and potions.
7. Graphics
- make cutscenes look like im watching a movie! make gameplay graphics not far behind that. darker and shadier. physics improved, like moving hair, changing weather, characters and environments reacting to weather. if it rains, make everything and everyone look wet. if it snows, make them shiver and we can see their breath and snow gathering on the ground. be able to get dirty. make day and night go by naturally. run out of breath. more atmospheric, natural, moving environment. im dying to see a realistic forest you can explore! the dalish forest was ruined when you had to follow set paths and it wasnt dark and ominous and lush! blowing grass and trees, flowing water,etc. make it real as possible. vibrant colors. darker, grittier, and more adult.
~~~ that's all i can think of for now...eagerly awaiting da 3. i hope they can implement some, if not all of our best ideas out there into the game. we know what we want. make it awesome, bioware!!!!~~~
4, WEAPONS AND ARMOR - They could use a little more variation, but DA2 was actually much better than DA:O in this area. Just keep the ideas for the coo andl sleek looking armor and weapons for all classes and you have no complaints from me.
One thing that *really* bugged me about DA2 was how a lot of the rings and amulets had generic names with no backstory. Everything in DA:O at least had a unique name. It was as if the developers couldn't be bothered to spend a little more creative juice and come up with something other than "Generic Ring #4".
i hated the items and weapons and inventory of DA2, everything was a ring, a ring, a ring, a ring, a slightly better ring, a belt, a slightly better belt and I felt like it was too stupid to bother with
I liked the names and in-depth stats of DA:O items, should go back to that
I guess maybe I should read other people's posts before adding my own...
I also think they should be more ways to avoid combat, like sneaking past, or causing a distraction making them leave.
There should also be new enemies that fight different than others. Ideally every fight should be different than the last. (running into a larger group of the same enemies is not different)
bring back combo spell (oil +fire...) traps for the thieves, bring back morphing mage (spider...) and swordman mage, animal summoning, also having pure healing mage mode that can't cast attack spell was dumb,
it's ok to have a huge spell hurting your party member but in da2 many of the warrior skills were unusable in nightmare unless you sent him on his own against numerous foes, to that regard dao was better so fix it
being able to fully equip your party members while keeping their style
bring back some of the former cast as cameo who could help you on specific quest as guest party member
bring back morrigan to solve her story and make her child a party member as a blood mage (living in an other dimension he could be older than expected)
the templar/mage war should be put to use (with hawke fate) but not being the central story, (like being the first stage of a greater cataclysm
grey warden should be involved but not as the main character, carter could come back as a party member
bigger maps is good but rather than vast empty feild i prefer dalatian's forest map size full of legend and quest, if i want to play skyrim i'll play it, but i wanna play dragon age (way better), no matter the size of each location keep the map to go from one place to an other it gives that traveling "feeling"
sea travel
more diverse enemies
drastic decision should change the story line,
--make allies turn against you, or refuse to join you ....
-- karma system leadind to being a hero that save the world, a tyran that takes the power and more subtle scenarios
managing romance, friendship between party members not just you
being able to create your own town, recruting refugies, training them so they can defend their home, or learn to hunt to survive..... (city management)
My suggestions for DA3.
1. PC can be human and Non-Human. (At least Dwarf Human and Elf.)
2. Combat that is more like DA:O.
3. No corpses exploding. Unless the enemy is hit with a powerful high level spell that kills them ans has a change of making them explose causing damage or something.
4. Darkspawn. I have no idea why they were changed in DA2 but I did not like it at all. The Darkspawn in DAO I liked much better.
5. Party memebers armour changed bases on what I gave them. Just like in DA:O.
6. A good story, Does not have to be some larger then life character who saves the world.
7. Optimised PC version. I did not buy a GTX570 so I can play Fruit Ninja or Bejewled 3.
8. Blood splatter that does not cover the entire body of PC or party memebers.
That is all I can think of for now.
I enjoyed romaces in DA2 but i'd like a bit more depth to them.
I'm fine with the mage/templar conflict to be the main theme. However i would like possibly some kind of friend/rivalry system in operation regarding their opinion of you. At the end i'd like it to play out differently depending on who you sided with etc. DA2 whoever you sided with turning on you felt cheap imo.
Pretty much this. And realistic weapons, no more oversized nerf weapons please. Oh almost forgot two words "Tool Set!"
Also, does Bioware really think that having needlessly huge numbers popping up when you hit enemies will attract more players? Well, I guess this theory was tested on DA 2...
