How in the heck am I supposed to buy the ME3 DLC? BioWare's website.

But there is no "Downloadable Content" option. It has ads for it in the little status feed bar, and I can click next away from the Status to see more info, but no buy options, no details, nothing. Looking through Origin, I found the store- and options to buy other games and the Pinnacle Station DLC for ME2- but nothing about From Ashes.

So... how am I supposed to give them my money if they won't take it? And whatever happened to physical discs you can hold in your hand, buy from the store, and not have all this downloading crap go wrong?

Check the "Games" tab, under that select Mass Effect 3 and Official DLC.

That is exactly the place Amaranthy told me to go. Perhaps I'm not being clear enough. When I click on either "Learn More" or "Buy Now", it opens a little window that lets me pick PC (or PS3/Xbox). That then sends me to the page I linked, with bogus instructions. No chance to pay/download/anything.

I think I know the problem. Be sure that you are logged in to the same Origin account that is your Bioware account too.

In Origin, go to settings->in game tab->make sure your "enable Origin in game" is ticked.

After that, launch the game.

You buy it in Origin.
Right click your Mass Effect in Origin then Game Details. Top right corner of the Info box will have a tab "Shop for Add Ons"
That is how I purchased mine.

@Amaranthy: That worked. With it re-enabled, I see the DLC menu option. Kinda annoying interface it launches though; buying it outside the game makes more sense to me.

@Lt.Instg8r: This method works, and is more sensible. My only gripe with it is when paying w/ Paypal, the little popup window is too small. After entering payment info and all that, you can't get to the actual "Pay Now" Paypal button- no scroll bar, middle mouse scroll is disabled, middle mouse click (such as available in browsers to scroll with) doesn't work, and the window is not realizable... I finally used Tab to navigate down to it. Really poor design there, Origin.

Thanks, both of you, for the accurate suggestions! Now there is something for someone to find with a Google search if they have the same stupid problem.

I know the problem with the pay pal you are talking about. I think I dragged the window to the edge so Win7 did the "Auto Maximize" thing.

ok tried all this but it just keeps saying "loading, please wait ... " at the verify and complete step
