Bioware, don't change the ending, just provide explanation and closure. Don't listen to the "MINORITY".

Naw that link at the bottom of the page is just to look pretty lol.

But yeah, in all honesty Luzerius enjoys controversy. That's like one of his main shpeals in his videos.

You do realize these endings on based on who is alive, died, etc you didn't actually think there was going to be 16 different endings? lol. Did you believe Witcher 2 as well when they said they were going to have 16 endings as well but it turned out to be about 2 or 3 endings based on who lives or which side you joined. No one whined about that one

Oh, it was mentioned a few times.

By the way, CD Project RED is changing TW2's ending.

That whole statement up there is just wrong, since you get all three endings (with high enough EMS of course) even if you never played ME1 or ME2. You don't need to own any of the other two games to get the A,B,C ending. So what's the point of all the decisions I made along the way? They simply don't matter, and that's the problem with the endings.Yes, you can see a few things during ME3 that were affected by earlier choices, but that still doesn't change the ending in any way. It doesn't matter if you cured the genophage or not. It doesn't matter if you destroyed the geth or the Quarians or made peace between them. It doesn't matter if you kept the collector base or destroyed it. Nothing matters. And that's the problem. Oh, there's also the couple of plotholes that appear along the way, like why the whole plot of ME1 is needed if the Catalyst lives on the Citadel and controls all Reapers, or in the end why the Normandy is suddenly in FTL for no reason. But hey, apparently we're all idiots because we didn't play the game right.

Nothing wrong with clarification and additional endings. Pro-ender's get a more detailed ending, while the retake ME3 movement supporters can receive additional endings.

Everybody wins.

I liked the endings but I don't agree with the tone of the OP. You're basically calling everyone who doesn't agree with you incompetent.

Hey OP...you are hilarious! No Joke...makes me wonder if we even played the same games. Also, starting out your post, insulting other fans of the series is NOT the way to start a post. We ARE not idiots, we got the endings...we also know that thematically, philosophically and artistically, the ending does NOT fit in with what came before. For nearly 3 whole games, the Shepard people played NEVER gave up...yet the Shepard in the end not only gives up, but does so without any argument. The endings felted rushed and tacked on...they felt as if they belonged in another game entirely.

We are not calling on Bioware to change anything, we just want some additions that fits with what came before it and we want endings that allowed our choices to matter. As it stands now, Bioware could release the endings as is as a standalone mini-game and sell that. Because EVERY choice you made prior to the end, is invalidated...made to no longer matter. In other words, made a player feel as if the 100+ hours that came before it was a major waste of time. So what if I ended the Geth/Quarian War...so what if I saved the Rachni Queen...so what if I cured the Genophage...because ultimately these DID NOT MATTER.

In ME1 and ME2, your endings WERE dependent on your choices in the game...THIS is the theme we wanted, this is what got us to purchase ME3, not to mention all of the promises the devs made about ME3. (There are other broken promises thread, I will not go into them here...) We were expecting more of the same...what we got was someone's idea of what would be cool, and it fell flat...totally, completely flat.

Two things.

1) The endings don't cover everyone's Shepard. Mine wouldn't have given in and listened to a Master Reaper, at least not without a fight. Heck, he JUST got TIM to shoot himself, and then he not one smooth talking try with the Reaper? No "Hey, look outside at EDI and the Geth helping us, idget."

2) Watched your stream. How do you logically explain an anti-AI character LISTENING TO THE AI IN CHARGE OF YOUR MAIN ENEMY AI ENEMIES AND THEN SACRIFICING HIMSELF AND OTHER ORGANICS BECAUSE OF WHAT IT SAID. Makes no sense, character wise.

Get back to me <3

I chose destroy.
And indecisive? If the ending is the same minus color then there is a clear problem when the entire game is based on choice and DIFFERENT outcomes.
Did you ever consider that maybe when someone saw what the crap ending was, they didn't feel like doing another playthrough to find out none of it matters again, so they just reloaded the save at the Citadel?

I am not indecisive, and I find it amusing you can say that every one 1 of the 60k+ Retakers is indecisive. Who said you got to determine whether players reload their saves? Who said you could tell me how to play?

Your logic is so flawed and opinionated it isn't even funny.

The minority? When was the last time you saw over 55,000 fans speak up against an ending? These type of numbers are unprecedented. I have never seen this ammount of outrage even with fall out.

As a friend said about changing endings..
"artistic integrity argument:

Canvas of flesh on gameinformer wrote -

"Charles Dickens changed the ending to Great Expectations based on fan and fellow writer's reactions.

Arthur Conan Doyle brought Sherlocke Holmes back from the dead because fans complained.

Blade Runner was changed quite a bit after negative fan feedback that the director just so happened to agree with.

Shakespeare altered the ending of King Lear due to reaction.

The ballet Swan Lake was changed due to a negative reaction.

Numerous comic books have been retconned.

Whole episodes of Star Trek have been declared non-canon by the writers and fans because of poor writing.

Mozart himself would change some of his pieces based on what the audience thought.

Numerous films go through test screening processes so this very thing doesn't happen. Sometimes that doesn't work out either (I Am Legend).

More recently, that poorly written omen called Mass Effect Deception is being fixed because fans complained.

There are literally a ton of instances throughout history where better artists than Bioware have altered their works based on fan reaction and criticism. It surprises me that you haven't heard of it ever happening. Almost every writer will tell you that if you're not willing to take feedback from the people who support you, then you're in the wrong business.

Also, fans are only requesting a change because they know exactly how easy it will be for Bioware to create even more DLC. It's much harder to change the ending of a movie than it would be to create a 10 minute DLC."

Luz I'm sorry but as a fellow player of this game I have disagree with your topic.

1. Saying I dont I know my sheperd is a kick to the **** sack when my Sheperd is based of my RP char that I use when I roleplay in a forum.

2. Saying that we shoudn't reload to see if we got the right ending isnt your choice people play differently then you.

3. Your facts are not even right you are saying they are cause YOU got the ENDING you wanted. You might want to take a step back and read what you said about everything else.

4. I'll still watch you but not as often. I'll be in TPG's or Airikas.
