Bioware, don't change the ending, just provide explanation and closure. Don't listen to the "MINORITY".

Are you missing a "checkmate" somewhere?
Lol at this.
Also, someone earlier posted that just because you start a sentence with Fact: doesnt make it one.
Fact: Starting a sentence with Fact does not make it a fact
Makes about as much sense as the catalyst.
Fact: This is not a fact.
See what I did there? See? See- Never mind.
Seriously though, this pseudo-intellectual garbage is intended to insult people's intelligence, and the OP is nothing more than an EA Troll.

Huge plot holes = Brilliance?
Also, how am I supposed to choose an ending that fits my Shepard's personality when he wouldn't accept any of them and would instead argue.
Yet you played all 3 games with this type of shepard and never had an issue with the dialogue options until the end of ME3? yeah right lol

With the Catalyst in the story, it doesn't make sense why a Reaper vanguard was required or why the Catalyst couldn't indoctrinate everyone on the Citadel, This is what happens when you pull something out of your butt at the last minute.

It wasnt a brilliant concept at all. I am a huge fan of the movie In Bruges (8.0 imdb). I didn´t like the three choices we were given and even the ending of the phantom menace was better than any of those. Anyway. Why were you refering to Contact? And why did you tell us the imdb score? That was totally out of context like me telling you guys I love in Bruges (great movie btw, look it up).
Still, you are in the minority. Also. I knew who my Shepard was. But there was no ending supporting his personality in the end, so I had to go with something that sucked totally to me and him and started hoping for another ending.
Lol, In Bruges is great. I love understated dark comedies.

Bioware is beholden to EA, which has no ethical code unless they're legally challenged and lose. That's why I don't resent the guy who went to the FTC. The real enemy of the fans here isn't bioware, it's EA and their game design policy. EA doesn't understand fan outrage, it understands bottom lines. Legal challenged and FTC complaints can directly impact their bottom line and investor confidence, which is why its the most effective means of protest over poor products.

I agree with this, the ending is fine, and the majority seem to be accepting, the BSN is just, as always the loud minority.
i agree although as the old saying goes, the truth hurts. BSN is the only place I know that is so full of people who don't want to learn, don't want to listen, even with facts they can't figure out simple math, ask stupid questions, can't understand simple concepts. Its sad, because there was a time here where everyone was intelligent, everyone had respect for eachother, and the only trolling or insults were people correcting eachother's spelling.
Since consoles man... BSN went down.. I bet you if there was a survey a majority of the minorities bought this game on the 360

BUT, as long as there is not sufficient, or any data, indicating a majority on the other side, I would not feel bold enough to declare the Retake people a minority.

Playing the game a certain way doesn't make you more or less of a Mass Effect fan. Claiming it does makes you an idiot though.

I understand the ending of this game to its absolute fullest.
Guess what?
It's still hilariously bad. Your facts* aren't going to change my mind.
Emphasis - I've never seen you bring any forward.

Please don't turn this into a console wars. Because if you do, I'll have to remind you that Mass Effect originally was developed as an Xbox exclusive title. For a long time, Mass Effect was only available on the Xbox360.
As a true sci-fi fan ans a true Mass Effect fan, I bought every single Mass Effect game on release, including ME1, which was released first on Xbox as an Xbox-exclusive. That's why I play Mass Effect on Xbox (and also because I prefer console-gaming).
Anyway, being a PC gamer doesn't make you better than the rest. Just saying.

Sorry to disappoint you there, but I've met plenty of other boards where the majority hates the endings. escapist for example.
Most of them don't bother with the BSN, because they don't see themselves as BioWare fans.
There has also been a huge outrage about the stupidity of the ending on the germena P&P RPG Board I frequent. And they are all GM's - experts in storytelling.

Not neccesairly. IMO maybe the Catalyst couldn't reveal itself till this moment? It needs the reapers here to maintain control.Myrmedus wrote...
The biggest issue with Catalyst, regardless of whether you liked the character or not, is that it destroys the entire plot of ME1.
