I Bought the Digital Comics form dark horse. I was going to buy them in order of release but they were offering a collectors assault rifle for multiplayer. I received the code in e-mail. In the email it mentions the code is for Xbox/PC ,it didn't mention thing in the original thing so I tried to redeem the code anyway. I started up the game and nothing.

This is all that was shown, on the APP I bought it through, further investigating shows that on the site there was a blog entry which stated it was Xbox/PC only.

Come on Bioware, why block ps3?

Would it be because of PSN Terms and Conditions?
That a lame excuse, I mean come on, you lot obvious know how to navigate and set things up on the store.
Just look at the ME3 and ME2 dlc for proof!
If it the additional Terms and Conditions because its a muilt-platform promotion, then add it via a patch to all PS3 games and then make it a tag through the Gallaxy At War server. That solution bypasses the PSN store and doesn't require any extra interaction with Sony as you already need to patch the game!
Even at that if you can’t deny PS3 users this weapon, if you can't get it to us via promotion sell it as dlc on the store simple.

Come on give us PS3 user the weapon we bought.

I always imagined that microsoft paid for the exclusives. Such as the kinect functions on xbox 360. I figured they could have at the very least gave us the ability to use sonys move. I mean damn imagine the possibilties with the aiming or throwing gernades. Would have been a neat option.

Hence the mass effect 3 xbox 360 commercials that tout better with kinect.

If true any contracts for exclusives would have become void when Microsoft leaked pre-release materials, twice.

The lack of PS3 content is not due to any contract with Microsoft; if it were, it would not appear on the PC (it's been that way with every other exclusivity contract, and there's no reason "this one" should be any different; the PC just adds too many variables for Microsoft's terrible business model to cope with). This is due to Sony's restrictive terms, which mean Sony must be counted as publisher for all promotional content on the PS3; something EA would never allow.

Just publishers at loggerheads. Go back to sleep, conspiracy theorists.

AHadley23:

This is funny, literally every Indie dev, and article on the internet paints microsoft as the closed platform, and sony the most open platform for devs.

Heck, even Gabe newell (Who used to dev only for PC/360) changed sides, stating that PS3 is the most open system of all new gen consoles.

Strange, I recall ME1 releasing for 360 AND PC.

And.. something about Halo on PC as well.

Simply put, why wouldn't Microsoft release exclusive content on PC, when all modern games are designed exclusively for Windows, a Microsoft operating system?

It's funny how the anti-Sony community members ignore all the facts. I'm sure these are the same people that think Bioware has "officially confirmed" a new DLC ending.
