I love the collaborative approach you've taken (I also suggest that you all sign with your BSN usernames at least). My French doesn't go much past ordering wine and asking for directions. But if someone bilingual stuck it into Google Translate and ironed out the bits that haven't translated properly, they could see if it matched the original intention. I wouldn't mind trying to fix up the translation, but I'd want someone to look over it to make sure I haven't accidentally changed meaning. PM me if you like.

The French BSN is certainly less "active" than american's, but it is certainly not dead ;)

Bonjour!

I'm French-Canadian and speak/write both French and English fluently, so if you're still looking for translation help, please PM me. It's so nice to see you here!

At a pinch I could ask my french speaking friends here to translate it fully, but that may be asking a bit much, considering they don't play ME, or have anything to do with it.

And the signing with BSN usernames is a very good idea. It should give Bioware an idea of the extent of the support for this.

edit : hopefully my offer will not need to be considered, as the post right above me has come just on time?

First, i'm trully sorry if my english is bad, i hope to put it clearly;)

Your English is frankly better than many for whom it is a first language. As such, I wish I was bilingual, just so I could help you.

Though I cannot assist you, I would like to thank you for your support.

Je suis français aussi, j'ai vu votre proposition déjà sur jv.com, et elle est bienvenue. Je ne suis pas assez bon en anglais épistolaire pour vous donner un coup de main significatif malheureusement.

i'm sure we're quite a few frenchies on the english BSN (as you know, there is a french version of the site, but less crowded)

Something like "Tenez les rangs", in a direct translation. Hard to put on something that means exactly the same.

Surely one of our French comrades must have listened to the Kirahee speech...I wonder what he says in their version...

They mistranslated it. They say "De la ténacité !" which means "Show tenacity!"

Hold the Line translates to: Rester en ligne

Hm, I would say "Tenez la ligne", or "Tenez les rangs". "Restez en ligne" means "Stay in line".

Tout simplement par "tenez la ligne", "tenez ferme" ou "tenez bon" ça marche aussi.
"Hold the line" c'est une citation de ME1 donc faut voir comment c'est traduit dans la VF.
