That cracks me up even more than "IL EN VIENT D'PARTOUT".

Plus the superdramatic "Tu doiiis mouriiir"

in ME1 , Kirrahe says "De la ténacité !"

It doesn't mean exactly the same, but the spirit is here.
Hold the line in military words could be translated by "Tenez vos positions".

What about all other random human thugs? They always shout "Enemy is everywhere" and "Hold the line"

"Hold the line", oddly enough, wasn't translated. "Enemies everywhere" becomes "Il en vient de partout" which litterally means "They're coming from everywhere".

That's a shame.

Plus, now that you make me notice, it really has to be "Enemies everywhere" and not "Enemy is everywhere". I swear I have always got it wrong and accepted it to be something along the lines of "All your base are belong to us".
I feel an idiot

Oh dear, please don't use auto-translators like Google to translate this... There are plenty of capable people who can do it here. Auto-translators miss important context cues and make a bunch of grammatical errors... Image IPB

Well. Its sound wrong for me, the voice is too young for someone like Samara (over 1000 years old).

Garrus' voice is not bad either.

No... not really :P

But I'll translate part of it, it's quite... long!  :)
Je vais en traduire une partie, c'est long...

You might want to have a native english speaker double-check the grammar though :)

And here is our letter (containt spoilers) :
Letter from fans to the Bioware teams in charge of Mass Effect 32 v.1.3

Hello to all the creative and production team of Bioware.

We are french, begians and francophone players having finished the Mass Effect saga by the conclusion of its last episodes, Mass Effect 3.

We are aware of the controversy generated by the end of Mass Effect 3, and, since a few weeks, we are expessing ourselves on this subject by way of various topics on Bioware Social Network - French.

It is as representing an important part of the French/francophone players comunity that we took the initiative to open a dialog with you.

For a little while already, a part of the players have reacted in a violent, agressive and sometimes downright offensive toward your teams, but the majority we represent obviously condemn this despicable behaviours.  We wish to adopt a more constructive approach, as you have given us the opportunity to express ourself on this subject.

We thank you very much for that.

This project wishes itself to be humble, respectuous, open, and has an objective of easing the undestanding the complaints of players throughout the French speaking communities (but we also think that our opinions reflect those of many players throughout the world).

We all consider the Mass Effect trilogy as a huge saga, of a a rare quality  and are deeply aware of the sizable efforts you must have accomplished to give fans the games they wanted to play.
Mass Effect has deeply touched a huge quantity of players on the emotional plan, more than many other video games, and it is not a surprise that many people waited impatiently for this third and final episode.
The reaction of your most loyal fan shocked you, some expressing themselves better than others. We are part of these fans, and we wish you to understand this is not a simple immature triviality, but a deep reflexion on the end story arc of Mass Effect 3.

We then ask to carefully consider what we're about to say in the next few lines, because we seek to establish a dialogue, not to impose anything on you.
We respect your intellectual property and know perfectly well that it is up to you to take the final decisions.
Despite all this, we wish to express ourself ou this end arc and hope that you can take the appopriate measures to bring this saga more shine than it already has.

We find that the whole content of Mass Effect 3 is a success, and we join all those who congratulate the game for this reason, but we are more... concerned about the conclusion.

"Why is it that a great majority of players are unsatisfied by the end of Mass Effect 3?"
We try to enlighten this by way of 3 axes:
1) What displeased the community
2) What the community would have liked
3) Solutions bring forward by the community to help the developpers in their future Mass Effect 3 project.

1- What displeased the communtiy

a) The feeling that the developpers did not respect their engagements toward the players concerning the impact of their choices on the conclusion.

Effectively, here are some extracs of Bioware's promises:
http://www.computera...ly-good/?page=2

“There
is a huge set of consequences that start stacking up as you approach
the end-game. And even in terms of the ending itself, it continues to
break down to some very large decisions. So it's not like a classic game
ending where everything is linear and you make a choice between a few
things - it really does layer in many, many different choices, up to the
final moments, where it's going to be different for everyone who plays
it.”

http://gamescatalyst...active-stories/

“The
whole idea of Mass Effect3 is resolving all of the biggest questions,
about the Protheons and the Reapers, and being in the driver's seat to
end the galaxy and all of these big plot lines, to decide what
civilizations are going to live or die: All of these things are answered
in Mass Effect 3.”

http://www.gameinfor...PostPageIndex=2

Interviewer:
[Regarding the numerous possible endings of Mass Effect 2] “Is that
same type of complexity built into the ending of Mass Effect 3?”

Hudson:
“Yeah, and I’d say much more so, because we have the ability to build
the endings out in a way that we don’t have to worry about eventually
tying them back together somewhere. This story arc is coming to an end
with this game. That means the endings can be a lot more different. At
this point we’re taking into account so many decisions that you’ve made
as a player and reflecting a lot of that stuff. It’s not even in any way
like the traditional game endings, where you can say how many endings
there are or whether you got ending A, B, or C.....The endings have a
lot more sophistication and variety in them.”
Given some of the promises made by Bioware, it's a real feeling of frustration, no, betrayal, that emerged from the fans.

Right, I translated this first part, hopefully someone can pick it up...
J'ai traduit la première partie, quelqu'un pourrait continuer...

Another part translated.
More to come.

We need translators stat to work on the initial draft. Then the rest of us can help with making it grammatically correct. We need to get the French voices heard, as well.

No, not for nothing, they are listening, apparently.  Though it remains to be seen if there will be a free alternate ending, or a DLC bundle with a new ending.
Can't say I trust Electronic Arts entirely on this... but, I'll wait and see.

Will be back later for some more translation.

Cool! I'm looking forward to seeing your translated letter!

The upside to this whole mess is that we get to talk to gamers from across borders and cultures that we would normally never attempt to reach or understand. Love it!

I usually like original versions better. But I love French Femshep (well... in 1 and 3. I don't know what the hell happened to her voice acting in 2).
