Javik does not sound like Jamaican to me, maybe I am stereotyping, but Jamaican (at leastthe one that I have heard/known) tends to be "heavier" on the tone of their accent, while West Africian/Africian English tends to have a "lighter" accent. Case in point, look for the actor that protray as the the black gladitator from Russell Crowe's Gladitator movie, that's true West Africian English.
Why does everyone say Javik sounds like he's from Jamaica?

There is a lot of stupid people in the world, or never met a person with Jamaica, and just assume it wasn't African.

I actually don't mind his voice all that much. I haven't viewed all of his content yet, but I do find it a little odd that he's the only one in those early flashbacks that sounds like that.
He kind of sounds like Barbados Slim from Futurama.
I keep expecting him to say: "You haven't seen the last of Barbados Slim! Now goodbye, forever!"
