When I'm running around Denerim at the end, everything gets pretty choppy, sometimes enemies are invulnerable (maybe because it isn't processing the hits they're taking). I've dropped my settings to the lowest possible for the end on both my playthroughs, but it has pretty much no effect.
My specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 @ 2.66ghz
4gb DDR2 Ram
ATI HD4850 512mb
Windows 7 64 bit (first playthrough was on XP 32 bit and I had the same problem)
Anyone else get a MAJOR performance hit during the final battles? ***SPOILERS***
