Hey all. I recently got the PS3 version of Mass Effect 3 and immediately ran into a problem. I am not able to spend skill points I receive on my character's powers. Whenever I open the squad menu and select any of the powers, I receive a window like this: http://i.imgur.com/xcOdR.jpg
I know the quality is low, but basically it just says "undefined" in the panel where the description of the power should be.
Whenever I try to actually upgrade a power, it simply says I need more experience before I can even though I have more than enough skill points.
I've tried numerous things to try to fix this, including: deleting all ME3 data off my PS3 and repatching the game, deleting my old save game files and beginning a new game, and reformatting my entire PS3.
After trying those methods, the problem was partially solved. Now whenever I load my game, the very first time I open the squad window all the proper information is displayed and I can upgrade my character's powers. After I close it and reopen it, it reverts back to the same format as the screenshot above and I cannot do anything.
All my software is patched up to the most current version. I am using a first gen 60GB PS3.
Has anyone else run into this issue? Is there a fix?
