Whenever I try to start a new character in Mass Effect 3 on the XBOX 360 from a import character from Mass Effect 2 on the XBOX 360 I wind up with the preconstructed Male Shepard face on all of my male characters and the preconstructed female face for a few of my female faces and i get a message saying "Bioware cannot find my face data and please update the face". I originally thought it was a internet communication problem but I realized that on all of my guy characters and few of my girl characters in Mass Effect 2 on the XBOX360 do NOT have a serial number located in the upper left hand corner of the screen while a few of my other female characters do have a serial number. I do not know hwy the serial numbers are missing to several of my faces. I also wonder if they are blocked for some reason.

Thanks. I was told by tech support to come here and they will look into it so i wasn't sure if anything is going to be done or not. I just find it on that it's more of an issue with MASS EFFECT 2 and not much of an issue with MASS EFFECT 3.

Frankly Mass EFFECT 2 needs a new patch BADLY because this is one of MANY issues I've found now.

It's not really a bump but I just realized just now that this "Missing serial number" thing has just a commonality: All of these saves that have this issue all have "Rescued Ashley from Virmire" Listed in the importation process. That is why all of my guy saves (3) and two girl saves cannot be imported is because I saved Ashley in Mass Effect 1 on Virmire while my Kaiden saves work just fine.

Why the haten on Ashley? LOL.
