I dont agree about Kai Leng, you probably never read the books though, but in the game i'll admit he was made far stupider, hell he brought an entire squad for one unarmed civillain in the books yet in the game he goes after shepard and his two sqaudmates almost alone

I haven't read the books myself, but looking at it purely from ME3 he really is just a plot device. He has no real character and really is just there in an attempt to be an anti-Shepard (which he fails at, imo). Maybe if he had stayed truer to how he was in the books it would have worked better, but again, I never read them so I don't know.

Favorite: Not giving them numbers since I don't think I could compare...

Tali (Her whole romance bit is just... adorkable. I'm a sucker for shrinking violet characters, and for some reason, giving her a Claymore shotgun in ME3 and watching her take down a brute just made her hotter. And that)
Joker (Brittle bone, and yet one of the most badass characters, and excellent work voice by Seth Green)
EDI (I'm a sucker for deadpan delivery. "That is a joke", AWESOME.)
Garrus (I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite wingman in the citadel... )
Mordin (I am the very model of a scientist salarian,
I've studied species turian, asari and batarian.
I'm quite good at genetics (as a subset of biology)
Because I am an expert (which I know is a tautology)

And advice on how to sex Tali safely (avoid ingestion).

And the way he just died... MORDIIIIIIIN!! ;_

Honorable mention to Thane, just for that sequence where he kills that Asari whose name I can't recall.

Best Villain: The Illusive Man, Martin Sheen is an amazing voice actor.

Least Favorite:

Javik (too angry)
Liara (I grew disenchanted with her when I saw her channeling Benezia.)
Kai Leng (He was doing fine, until he sent me that taunting e-mail.)
Jacob (So boring.)
Kelly (Shut up, Kelly.)

Kinda hard to distill into 5, there were so many great characters, but here goes.

Favorite (In no particular order, I simply can't say one is less than the other)
1. Joker (Just so funny, then serious when he needed to be)
2. Garrus (Bros4Life!!)
3. Ashley  (I know she isn't popular with most, but I was always just drawn to her, I dunno)
4. Mordin (Best dialogue out of everyone, and best death. It hurt but was a great moment in the story)
5. Liara (A steady friend, someone who Shepard can confide in)

Least Favorite:
1. Space Kid/AI/God...thing (Ugh....just ugh)
2. Kai Leng (not because he was an enemy, he was just a weak character)
3. Udina (first time I ever used a renegade interrupt was to off that bastard)
4. Salarian Dalatrass (seriously skewed views on how the galaxy works)
5. Henry Lawson (worst. dad. ever.)

Honorable mentions go to Admirals Hackett and Anderson, along with Aria. TIM was an awesome villian.

I don't really dislike my least favorite characters. They are all wonderful portrayals. I just think their characters are either dull-witted, gutless, or a bit silly.
