I thought it'd be really neat to have a thread started where fans may give suggestions of the next Mass Effect Series.

for example(s)

1. The Rise of Cerberus (how cool to see Illusive Man back when he was known as Jack Harper)

2. The Krogan Rebellions (I'm a big fan of the Krogans)......I'm a big fan of Jim Cummings (VA Wreav) he did a great job. I think he would be perfect for the Leader of the Krogans who brought Fear to the galaxy LOL!

3. The Reapers - I would like Bioware for you too give more informatin on them (Especially Harbinger) Maybe the first civilzation on how they developed them

4. Aria T'Loak - that would be fun. Instead playing Shepard but now Aria and her rise to Power

5. Samara: I really think Bioware you can pull this one off. She's  nearly 1000 years old. Think of how much backstory she has

6. Wrex: Bioware, you did a great job on creating Wrex. I would like to have a game of the rise of Urdnot Wrex

7. Adirmal Hackett: I always enjoyed Admiral Hackett, be really nice to see a backstory of him. And how he got the scar on his face. They Lance H did an amazing VA job

8. Zaeed Massani and the Rise of the Blue Suns

I don't want a prequel series. I'd like a series after the reinvention of Mass Relay technology after ME3

I'd also like to see the Mass Effect universe continue. But as far as prequels go....jack harper would be cool. But the first contact wars have always interested me. As a star trek fan, mass effect always seemed so visceral and real. A lot of things that I have done with shepard would make kirk wet his pants.

It's like Star Wars really...after Return of the Jedi, I wanted to know what happened to Luke. When they announced more Star Wars movies I thought, great! ...oh, prequels, well, ok, prequels first, then sequels...
Then it was all, Sorry, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford are too old to reprise their roles.

Then Lucas did Clone Wars animated.

Animated.

Now why the hell not carry on after Return of the Jedi? Now that image is no longer an issue?

It just smacks of ass. I own the first 6 Star Wars movies, but infinite Clone Wars? GTFO.

Mass Effect prequels?

My suggestion would be to complete your story instead of changing the plot in the final hour.

Remember how well Star Trek did? Yeah? Then Star Trek, Next Generation? Awesome. 178 episodes spread over seven seasons, it ran longer than any other Star Trek series.

Remember Star Trek Enterprise? No?

That's ok, nor do I.

I prefer a sequel, not a prequel.

Make it far forward. I believe the leaked script said that last hidden cutscene with the child and grandfather was 10000 years into the future or something. Doesn't need to be that much, make it 500-1000 years into the future, civilizations have just recently re-established an interstellar network, after the destruction of the Mass Relays took them centuries to recover from.

I'd expect the Yahg to be big players in a new ME era, either as a "krogan"-like faction, or antagonists.

I'd love to play through a story with the original Shadowbroker in it. Pretty much any game with a great story set in Mass Effect universe (pre-ME3) would do.

Yes, the Yahg, remembering Admiral Hackett talking about the Reapers ingnoring the Yahg's homeworld. Very interesting to see how BW continue's the series (if they continue) on how they handle the Yahg.

yeah, I was always curious about the Original Shadow Broker. For some reason, when I played the DLC LOSB - I thought it would be someone like the Illusive Man...........man was i in for a surprise...

We dont really need new mass effect right now, let is sit around for awhile and work on something else.

I would much rather see something new or the next iteration of Jade Empire.

There were hints in ME3 that the Salarians were trying to uplift the Yahg, I imagine the next ME game will be about trying to stop a possible outbreak of Yahg across the galaxy.

Perhaps an entiraly new story with how all the species on Earth are trying to survive and adapt without the Mass Relays, will they become tribes? countries? savages? Perhaps thats why they destroyed the Mass Relays at the end of 3, endless possible storylines

Personally though I'd like to see a space combat game based on Mass Effect series.

Mass effect morning war: shows the geth's creation, development, and rebellion from their point of view, maybe play as legion or quarian soldier who realized the geth arnt violent and decided to help them

mass effect empire: shows the prothean empire and what life was like back then with several playable race OR play as javik starting when he was a child fighting reapers to being chasd by his indoctrinated friends and closes when sheperd unfreezes him

mass effect: zakera ward stories: a GTA style game in the mass effect universe taking place a few years before ME1. some citadel character like garrus, thane, kellam, bailey, fist, and saren for at least some appearences like running into garrus in one mission, working with kellam or fist for a few, or do some dirty work for saren, much like the missions in GTA games

I'd prefer to hold off on speculating about the next game until the current one is fixed. I sure as hell am not buying the next one otherwise.

I hear you. though, I personally am not so bent on the ending as I am on the "game as whole".......there's a lot of problems in ME:3...

I would think being the third installment, they would fix the squad's AI...i still have problems controlling them. Sometime's they listen and other times when you need them.........they're way far behind in combat...really annoying.

also, the lack of character development...again only Liara is the only which Bioware seemed to emphasized on...yet I didn't get to see Wrex much at after the whole Tuchnaka mission...and he was my main squadmate in ME:1.....wow thanx for stripping him in ME:2 & 3...really disappointed.

or what about Harbinger??? his absence really made me question on the intergrity of Bioware's own games...

anyway, i find there's not going to be much that Bioware can do with ME:3........except a DLC that may add "closure" even then.........i'll miss Zaeed, Grunt, Wrex, Wreav, Miranda and host of other characters they've neglected

Perhaps an interquel is best?

Something not so central to the fate of the galaxy, set between 1 and 3, somewhere in a more confined location like one planet or the Citadel.

I personally like the idea of a new protagonist who's a space pirate or bounty hunter pre-ME 3. Less regulations so they can get tattoos or longer hair => greater customization. Multiple races too.

Or something like Deus Ex 3 on the Citadel and Omega:bandit:.
