The problem with this discussion is that romance /= sex.   There are actually a lot of good conversations with Traynor, for example.   While the shower scene was too abrupt  (should have done something with the chess game first), talking about the white picket fences and the little flirtations added to her reports worked well, I thought.   The second time she comes to your room is very well done, too.

Btw, Tali tells you she loves you right before you face down the Reaper on Rannoch.

Jack, Miranda, Jacob, and Thane are short changed in that they don't rejoin the team, so aren't around much.  I don't think the others were short changed at all, though perhaps they aren't the sort of "romance" the particular player is looking for.

Personally I dislike that most of the LI have a very touching and personal dialogue to them yet the Miranda one is just her fessing up and then them doing it. I mean wtf? In ME2 Miranda went from a lapdog of Cerb to a character with real impact that is why I romanced her but then all you get is like two or three meetings in person and a few chats? I felt rather screwed over for liking someone other than tali or liara

For me, Tali is and will always be my LI. I just hope her romance got a bit more attention in the end, but, truely, Rannoch was.Completely.Absolutely.AWESOME. A part of me keeps saying I could not possibly ask for more... Yet another keeps saying that I want a romance scene as detailed as Liara's with her.

Tali does say she wants all the time she can get with you, as there's no telling when it's all over. In ME3 there are two "fade to black" moments with Tali in the Normandy, I guess it's just too bad Bioware didn't make them more explicit...

I personally don't care, Tali makes you feel home, and actively seeks you out to follow up on the mutual feelings. I remember hating Morrigan from Dragon Age because you had to drag yourself over the mud to get something with her.

It's funny; Tali's my favourite ME LI, but Morrigan's my favourite DA LI. Weird how that works.

Don't get me started on the DA:O sex scenes, though. Those were...  awkward, to say the least.

No I hope not actually.  Just because I liked Tali I totally get why some people might like Liara or someone else.  (Except for Jacob.  I am sure no one EVER romanced him at all).

hahah this thread has me feeling like maybe I didn't get jipped at all.  Maybe I didn't get my hot sex scene like Liara but yeah OK.  We got some serious romance moments that were satisfying.

(PS I still want to see her in Bra/Panties.)

That makes me feel weird. My fave LI from Mass Effect is Tali but for Dragon Age; that is Morrigan...

I was less-than ecstatic about Tali's Romance scene. It was better than what Jack and Miranda get, that's for sure. But a character as popular as Tali? Despite what you may think of her, I'd bet if Bioware conducted an official poll, Tali would be the number one Romance for Male Shepard

Or at least the one with the most obsessed fan base for sure.  Liara's fan base would probably rival Tali's, but it seems like for the Talimancers it goes a bit beyond rational... am I alone in that perception?

So very much true, It was heartbreaking in a way to see her wanting more time. I wished for that, too, but feared voicing it would shatter my resolve... Then she did say the words and I have to take some pause before resuming the attack. It was powerful to say the least, specially in the 2nd playthrough knowing what would follow.

But on the other hand, when I battled the Reaper in Rannoch I was at first unsure how I would beat it, hell, I did not think it was possible... Then that 2 lines of "I love you" and "Keelah se'lai" ...  And I instantly knew that Reaper was. ****ING. GOING. DOWN!!

Sorry, I got a bit overboard. Dont blame me, Bioware just made a character I fell in love with and made me feel so invested as to resonate with her... Sure speaks volumes about their writing skills to be able to do it with just ONE character, but doing it with ALL OF THEM? *inhales* Awesome.
