That being said, the lack of Jack is whack. Her attitude in ME3 is so vastly improved that I was expecting awesome things for/from her. And then disappointment, yet again, reared its ugly head.

But mostly I am satisfied with what is currently in the game for Tali (I cannot speak for any other LI's since I didn't bother going through all of them). If Bioware had fixed Tali's hand and somebody hadn't found the original stock photo. I'm sure a lot of people would think she looked fine. At least I think she is fine as is minus the badly made hand.
Bigger problems at the moment with ME anyway.

I was less-than ecstatic about Tali's Romance scene. It was better than what Jack and Miranda get, that's for sure. But a character as popular as Tali? Despite what you may think of her, I'd bet if Bioware conducted an official poll, Tali would be the number one Romance for Male Shepard
Or at least the one with the most obsessed fan base for sure. Liara's fan base would probably rival Tali's, but it seems like for the Talimancers it goes a bit beyond rational... am I alone in that perception?
My wife would agree with you. I think she's grateful I'm having an affair in a video game instead of RL hahahah

I personally don't care, Tali makes you feel home, and actively seeks you out to follow up on the mutual feelings. I remember hating Morrigan from Dragon Age because you had to drag yourself over the mud to get something with her.
I think this is one of the reasons I really like Jack over Tali, Liara and others. So many of them just seem to worship the ground Shepard walks on, and that just rubs me the wrong way. Liara is one of the most important figures in the entire galaxy, she can't afford to be as co-dependent on Shepard as she seems sometimes. It's like actual character development was sacrificed in favor of making her more of a waifu.
Jack knows **** is gonna go down, and one or both of them may die, and has a much healthier approach to their love. In my opinion, anyway.

Tali does say she wants all the time she can get with you, as there's no telling when it's all over. In ME3 there are two "fade to black" moments with Tali in the Normandy, I guess it's just too bad Bioware didn't make them more explicit...

And I, not so secretly desperately wanted a chance to Romance Morrigan, it all just boils down to preference
That makes me feel weird. My fave LI from Mass Effect is Tali but for Dragon Age; that is Morrigan...
Amen to that! I dig Tali, and I love me some Morrigan!

I don't agree with you. There was no romance option at all for lesbian players in ME2, so.... *shrugs*
This. It makes up for getting totally ignored the second game. The scene makes sense especially if you have been loyal since the first game.
I do have a male shep with Jack and that was disappointing. Then again, punching Shep in the face is probably foreplay for her so... At least you get to disappear somewhere with Thane but just a dance for poor Jack. The scenes have never been equal for all characters. I don't see any complaints about Cortez.

i've tried many times to play as a maleShep. i can't help myself. every time he opens his mouth to say something moving, he comes out with "i'm bored," "i'm reading this, and i'm bored," "i'm a robot" or "i'm a bored robot reading this." as much as i love Tali as a character, i can't bring myself to play maleShep.
The feeling is mutual with female Shepard, except she tries to sound too emotional in every line she says, not to mention she sounds like a teenage girl trying to sound like a 30-year-old woman.

Aside from a missing Purgatory bathroom scene with Jack, it was good considering she wasn't a crew member in ME3. Of course, I wish it was elaborate.

Bulls#!t. Liara goes through hell for Shepard when everyone else left him to rot. She tracks down his dead body, steals it from the Blue Suns before they can deliver it to the Collectors, then takes it to Miranda so the Lazarus Project can bring him back to life. If you question her on Ilium, she feels guilty about turning you over to Cerberus and admits that she did it all because she just couldn't stand to lose you.Shallyah wrote...
Tali is also about the only LI that really cares for Shepard ...
As for not being a shallow one night stand, Liara makes you promise in LotSB that you'll always come back alive before continuing the relationship. They even talk about marriage, lots of little blue children, and old age. The gifts she gives Shepard and their conversations are also deep and thoughtful. For me, all of that pales in comparison to the thing that really tips the scale in her favor: as part of being an asari, she is the only love interest that can ever truly understand Shepard. With the burden on his shoulders, that is very important. They can become one with each other during the joining... sharing emotions, thoughts and memories. This is where the only thing I didn't like about the Tali romance (at least in ME2) comes in: the way Tali describes her feelings makes it sound like hero worship. Liara feels like she treats you as an equal. Also, sure, Tali is a nerd (tech expert)... but so is Liara (archaeologist).
Of course, it doesn't hurt that the sex is great either. Liara would have several things going for her in that regard. 1) Asari are some of the most (if not the most) powerful biotics. I imagine the two of them (my Shepard is also a strong biotic) could find some uses for that. 2) Asari can join their nervous systems together and are able to consciously control nerve stimulation. 3) Asari are just naturally comfortable and confident with expressing their sexuality. Contrary to rumors and wishful thinking, this does not mean that they are more promiscuous.
You know what they say: "Once you go blue, nothing else will do."

With Tali, the picture makes her look... elven. Well, I managed to have Quarians and Geth at peace, so there is a possibility of something if the Geth are willing to assist with the genetic adaptations. Even Javik comments about how the Quarians appear "attractive" but no one will be able to see it, except Shepherd, as he remembers from the contact earlier. Still loved it when EDI clarified a question over the radio comm when Tali asked Shepherd if he was feeling ok since their first close encounter. Apparently AIs that can see everything that happens on the ship are not that good at keeping private events secret.
Now to see where the Liara/Fem shep romance goes, without seeking the spoils through youtube.

I don't know, I keep seeing Asari as stereotyped playboy girls from space that look exactly like humans, only with tentacles as hair (twi-lek rip-offs), there's nothing I can do if they just don't feel right. I admit Aria seems like an interesting character I wish would've gotten more screen time in ME3, though.
My heart breaks when I hear Tali beg for more time, and Liara's words never transmited any sign of emotion to me. In the end it's matter of preference, there's no right or wrong about it.

OMFG! I just looked at all the different romance endings (on youtube) and I have to say they were not made equal.
I got a photoshopped pic of Tali and a quick 'romance scene' after being 100% faiithful. (no ME1 romance)
FemShep and Traynor get like a totally hot lesbo shower love scene and a kick ass afterglow scene.
Miranda... WTF in ME2 she was pretty over the top. ME3 I don't even see those perfect globes of genetic perfection at all.
Jack (my second play through and loved the romance scene in ME2) wow in ME3 I get a kiss and some club dancing
Liara Whoooaaa baby. Wish I liked her. That was worth the effort if you were into her.
Hell even the Cortez MaleShep was full on softcore porn.
Anyone else here think these love scenes which to me are part of the effort to build the romance were way out of balance?
I mean I'm lucky my Russian wife will put a hazmat suit on and call me Commander Shepard all I want so I'm doing better than most Talimancers but gee I still feel kind of shorted. (not like the ending though... noooooo sir. not meaning to even compare the two. Just talking about something else here)
EDIT - I thought the male/male was Vega at first. It's cortez so I fixed it in the list.
you have to play the whole game over again and choose the green laser
