Tali's romance is handled in a different direction. She has plenty of flirting and interaction with Shepard during the Rannoch missions, and she had a fade-to-black scene with him. A couple, actually.

Jack, yeah she and Miranda got less, but they weren't members of the Normandy at the time. It's not like they don't have their moments, though.

Traynor I agree had a bit more limelight considering she's so new, but I don't think it would have been right to lesson her involvement and scenes just because she was new. Consider the new players jumping right into ME3.

Liara and Ashley I think they did pretty well. Kaidan as well. And Cortez, whom I think you meant when you said Vega. lol.

I have no clue about Garrus.

Yes. Yes, it was. As was the case in ME1, Liara yet again receives the most artistic and erotic of the love scenes in the game. Luckily, she's my "canon" love interest. Otherwise, I would have probably been jealous of all the attention she gets.

As second maleshep option I'd explore Jack, though I'd have to restart ME2, and right now that's a lot of investment considering the endings. >_>

Does anyone know if different things happen if you take no love interest? Are there just no extra scenes to be had? I think it's unfair if there aren't!

Single Shepards should get scenes of their Shepard reading a book, feeding his fish, and other random things!

I have no idea why more time and effort was put into the Cortez/Traynor romance than most of the ME2 characters'. I get Bioware is trying to portray same sex relationships tastefully in their games, but that doesn't mean characters and romances from the previous game had to be shafted.

I believe there's actually a few extra lines of dialogue with Anderson at the very end. He asks Shepard if he'd ever want to settle down after this, and Shepard says he doesn't see it happening.

Yes, Shepard looks into his bathroom mirror before the assault on Cerberus while dramatic music plays in the background. As time passes his face slowly turns into the forever alone face and he recoils in horror. Then he wakes up to the sound of Edi telling him that they have arrived at the final destination. It's heartwarming.

Don't blame s/s relationships, it's Bioware's own fault, they rushed the game, they took out content.

A faithful Liara probably has the best overall romance content wise.

I'd say team dextro is next followed by the VS. Then you have Miranda and Jack followed by Steve and Samantha. Thane and Jacob at the bottom, especially Jacob.

If snu snu is your main thing then Steve and Samantha probably shoot ahead of Tali and Garrus.

Which still means the s/s relationships took priority over the ME2 ones. That's on Bioware.
