It is blatently obvious what the canon choices are and who Shep will shag in the Mass Effect movie.
Really illustrates the lack of love this game has seen.

This happens when you rush a game in which your choices are supposed to matter. Practically every sex scene apart from the Liara one deserve an overhaul. Because some of them are the direct opposite of steamy.

I decided to put all of the banners in their own thread to avoid cluttering this one.

It's just Liara, Tali, Garrus, Miranda and Jack so far...

Thanks dude!

For me, I'm kind of torn between Ashley and Tali. In ME1, Tali was a bit emotionless and didn't appeal to me. In ME2, her character was really flushed out and you got to see the emotion behind her and her characteristics. Ash got a total makeover that i prefer in ME3 and she is still the strong, independent character some of us have come to love. They are both great and I romanced both of them in everyone of my playthroughs and right now, im having a tough time deciding on just one.

But ya, go Team Tali.

My issue with Ashley is her constant state of distrust.  ME2 she rejects you. ME3 she spends 99% of the time questioning you.  I just found that unattractive.

Tali definately should have had her face shown, not just in the picture. That would have been perfect, same as we have now but show her face and the kiss.

Mordin cracks me up.  I liked hanging around with him in ME2 for all the funny **** he says.  And because I hadn't committed to Tali yet I remember one time he's like "Ummm Shepard I don't like you that way" or somthing like that.  He's an awesome character.

Oddly I feel like he did get an ending that was clean.  He was getting old, he fixed his mistake even though his whole race didn't want him too.  He went to his death with fierce bravery (as all ME characters should) and was just a total 3 dimensional characters.  I loved it when he said "Would have like to run tests on seashells' one of my favorite lines.

OMFG!  I just looked at all the different romance endings (on youtube) and I have to say they were not made equal.

FemShep and Traynor get like a totally hot lesbo shower love scene and a kick ass afterglow scene.

Yes I (my femshep) actually had the hots for Liara, but I just couldnt...resist...the hot wet lesbian...(speaking of indoctrination) Shepard neither, she didn't even try to unclothe before joining under the shower.

But in the end...Traynor ended up with Joker (or Javik Image IPB)

Something that not many are taking into account, is that asari lifespans range from several centuries to a whole milennium, while Shepard would die in just a few decades. That'll be okay for Shepard, since he's dead and he's gone, and Liara will keep looking all steamy hot for him all his life, but I fear for poor Liara seeing him wither and eventually die, either living soul crushed for centuries and becoming some weird stuff to overcome the grief (huntress, justicar, or just randomly nuts), or finding someone else to have fun with after some time of mourning.

Quarians lifespan is pretty much identical to humans.

Nah, in my own head... Shep has got enough upgrades to at least double her lifespan.. Giving her at least 300 years. Still not much, but I see Liara as the loyal type. Especially considering Shepard was her first and she waits for you to 'maybe' be brought back to life for 2 years.

This has always been my thinking. In ME 2 Miranda says that her doctored genetics will allow her to live much longer than a normal human. Shepard has a crap load of upgrades that will probably not only allow her to live much longer, but she heals much faster. She should at least be able to see her kids grow up with those upgrades. Plus there is no telling what the Cipher and beacons have done to her on a deeper level. It's obvious her brain functions were changed by them as she can understand all Prothean tech. Anyone else just sees static or nothing.

Liara is probably like her mom, she loves hard. When Shepard is finally gone Liara will likely dedicate herself to the children and her work much like Benezia did.

I have to be honest, the romance scenes are pretty far down the list of important issues that need to/should have been addressed in Mass Effect 3.

Honestly I didn't mind it that much. Sure it's whinning, but the scenes at the hospital show that she's trying.

She wants to trust you, she just isn't there yet. She didn't know that it was Liara that got him reconstructed, and she wasn't with him like Tali and Liara were during ME2, that's a lot of ground she needs to cover in a short amount of time compared to those two.

Oh and my take at the 'whinning' after their date scene, when they are at sancutary and she asks do you know them; friends bickering. Even if she still has some issues she knows Shepard is Shepard, as stated in the Cerberus base. That however wont stop her from taking pot shots at him though. Which I personnaly loved, as it came of in the same way as Shepard screwing around with her when she was drunk.

All in all I think she was a character that had a large amount of growth throughout all the games she was in. ME1: Somewhat hostile to aliens and headstrong but learns to open up. ME2: Short but you get the point, confused and angry at what you are doing and why you haven't contacted her. ME3: Working her way through that confusion to realize that she still loves you.

In defense of Ash, after you see the face of the Cerberus Centurion... anyone is going to start doubting about Shep and what they have done to him/her.

Really it's unattractive even in a friend. If I hate repeating myself, my Shep likes it even less. I mean seriously Ash? How much have we been through?

I felt that Talis scene was kinda lacking. Seems the devs liked Liara the most, and everyone else in a decreasing manner. Good thing I never tried romancing Miranda or Jack otherwise it would be futile.

What's not to like about Liara? She's an intelligent smoking hot blue bombshell! and that voice!

Miranda... WTF in ME2 she was pretty over the top.  ME3 I don't even see those perfect globes of genetic perfection at all.

Jack (my second play through and loved the romance scene in ME2) wow in ME3 I get a kiss and some club dancing

Liara Whoooaaa baby.  Wish I liked her.  That was worth the effort if you were into her.

Yes,  Miranda was hot in ME 2 but totally agree with you about Jack in ME 2 she was the best emotionally packed romance in ME 2 and she looks great in ME 3. It certainly was too bad she couldn't join the crew on Normandy for a last minute tango before the finale. I went with her instead of Liara (who is my all time favorite but now she always in that crappy white suit.).In ME 3 Liara doesn't get much dailogue showing if she even likes Shepard beween missions.

They have never given the Tali romance the respect and the visuals it deserves.

Hardcore Ashley fan over here and she called me Skipper once the entire game....wtf BioWare lol.....though the final scene was kinda...okay?

Yeah, real consequences for cheating. She mentions it once and I can magically make it okay by making a paragon choice. lol. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too much time went into Liara and none at all for the VS, who was supposed to have a big role. Hell,Ashley never even talks to the crew except the Tali post Rannoch scene....

I've said it before and I'll say it again. All of the LIs should have gotten the Liara treatment. Especially Tali/Garrus. Both are hugely popular and it would be a nice gift to those who remained faithful.

i dont know, the 2sec dance with jack was pretty steamy

I didn't romance Jack and I still got to dance with Jack. Albeit the usual FemShep shuffle as opposed to the 'everybody jump!' dancing you get if you're by yourself. Surprised me with the solo dancing. I was all 'Wow. So thats what Shep was doing while she was kicked out of the Alliance... learning to dance!' then came the scene with Jack -_-;
