Not everyone games on PC, or has a PC capable of playing all 3 games, such as myself.
i have a pentium 4, 2 gb ram. went out n bought a $60 video card. funny thing is me2 and 3 play alot better on it than me1 does

This is hardly a matter for the Mass Effect 3 PS3 Technical Support forums. How is this thread not being locked? No wonder we can't get official statements from BioWare concerning technical issues for ME3; the forum admins don't even read the PS3 forums.
They don't come here at all, so we can talk about whatever. Not like they're ever gonna see it, lmao.

Our request would be more effective if we can do this in the more official ways. But how can we request ME1 on PS3 officially?
Yes, I'm wondering about this.
I got help from radioplaystation.
I might get some help from sixaxxis, but they're very little fansites compared to vg247, kotaku, etc...
I have Mass Effect for PC BUT it didn't work on my 1 year old Toshiba laptop because it has not a supported video card.
That's why I can be so spot on about the rights, because I can read them on the game package
I'm open to every kind of solution, same game/remake/whole trilogy.
But we "simply" deserve the game.
Mass Effect 2 reached 1 million copies this week (again, at retailers, don't know about the digital) and Mass Effect 3 is already at 0.63 mil
http://www.vgchartz....s=0&results=200
Those are impressive numbers that really justify a release in whatever way, but we must show that we care.
Some people complain for a "lack" of ending, and Bioware listen.
We lack the beginning...
Is a dog without one of the front legs so different than a dog without one of the back legs?
We must ask, firmly.
And if we can, we must organize.
Facebook, twitter, social networks, forums we visits.
Everywhere we can.

I would definitely get Mass Effect 1 on ps3, should it be released someday. Ps3 is my preferred console, and it would be nice to have the entire trilogy available on ps3 as well.
Hear, hear! Although my social life would probably suffer for a couple of months after such a release.

incorrect they do not own the rights to mass effect 1 since that was done under microsoft when bioware was under their thumb hence why there has only been one dlc[current is pinnacle station} for that game at the time and nothing else has been changed EA owns bioware SO THEY DO OWN ME2 AND 3, BUT NOT ONE AND SO THAT IS WHY YOU WILL NEVER SEE it on PlayStation, and why in me3 only get to see it in a name but not actual landing area that you can land on and fight in due the IP thing
What about Bring down the Sky -- that was also DLC
Anyway I want it on PS3 too (my preferred system). I've played ME1 (bought an Xbox360 for that sole purpose).
I've not played ME2 or ME3 on the Xbox360, only played those on the PS3, and while some things ring a bell from ME1 (especially in ME3), Some characters don't show up that you met in ME1, which is odd because 1 character from ME1 is in ME3 on the PS3. which Shepard should know (so should another squad member), but it's like they never met before.

Judging by the size of each (12GB) they could shove the entire trilogy on one 50Gig dual layer blu ray disk.

EA International totally owns the rights as is stated on every PC copy of Mass Effect since 2010.
MS paid for the development of ME when BioWare was a free developer. I'm sure MS still owns the console rights to Mass Effect.

No...No...Bad Fuzzfro. This is what a lot of game devs want. To lighten your wallet. 60$ is more than enough period.Fuzzfro wrote...

Never gonna happen unfortunately. Good for me I managed to play Mass Effect on XBOX before I got a RROD, got pissed after that and bought a PS3, so imagine my joy when I found out that they are releasing ME2 and now ME3 on PS3!

No MS paid BioWare to development for this triology series. This was BEFORE EA purchased BioWare.
I'm sure EA worked out a deal with MS after they bought up BioWare, but MS held the rights for console exclusive to Mass Effect for the 360.
And why the hell would you want Mass Effect anyways when its so dated? The story is still good, voice acting is alright, graphics are awful now, gameplay after playing ME2-3 feels slugish, and the mako parts suck, and the same room but different box layout fights suck also.

Simple - It's a classic!
Graphics don't make a game - they enhance it.
ME1 is closer to ME3 in it's weapon customisation -- just toned down a little
The same rooms - different box layouts had a certain charm - quite challenging on Insanity.
The Mako yes it was a nightmare to control but that was part of it's charm, and seeing it stranded in ME2 was touching
Shooting a Geth Colossus with it was a blast (excuse the pun).
Story and voice acting stood the test of time.
Jennifer Hale is my favorite voice actress having first heard her in Grandia II.
Bring down the Sky was great DLC too
It deserves to be on the PS3.
We deserve to see the origins of Mass Effect (it's like handing a child half a book which starts at the middle)
You don't seem to agree though.

Yes Mass Effect isn't on that list as it came out in 2007 but wait
http://en.wikipedia....os_(game_studio)
Under Software development studios look what it says for under the Former/Defunct column
Under Owned franchises and properties Mass Effect is not listed.
So unless I am missing something Mass Effect is owned by Bioware and Microsoft do not own the console rights.
