Every character should get DLC missions and you should be able to play as that character. I would love to play as garrus when he was arch-angel or some missions when he was in C-sec. To play as Ashley since she is a spectre some of those missions would be cool. To play as grunt leading an army of krogan or even thane when he was an assasiin I could go on and on but I think its time.

That's... nineteen different squadmates from ME/ME2/ME3.

I wouldn't mind this. So far, aside from Shep we only got to play as Jacob and Joker... ugh.

Also, don't forget, if you play as Zaeed your squad cannot survive

I think they can get it done or at least get most of them. I'l even go with the most important ones even though they should I think they can get something.

Over two games we've had just nine DLCs, if you count Zaeed and the Normandy Crash Site.

Making *one* takes months.

Sorry but this is incredibly unrealistic. Who decides 'the most important ones'?

The reaction to DAO's character-background DLC wasn't exactly golden, and that team said they'd probably move to packs that used the main character.

They can still get it done in a span off time it takes to make the next mass effect game. One DLC can contain at least 2-3 characters and so on and so on. I'd be willing to wait months for those to be relased at a time.

I believe that the only squadmates (former squadmates) who needs DLC are Grunt, Jacob, Jack, Miranda, Samara and Thane.

The rest of the crew already have enough screen time in the main game. What the sidelined characters received is an insult to their fanbase.

I wouldn't be mad at this but even if they did that first later down the line I think they should release something for garrus and ashley. Don't really care for liara so we can skip her.

I like it, but I rather do Shepard's psychological profile (Elysium, Akuze or Torfan) as DLC. I'd love to be Matthew Shepard in the Skyllian Blitz.

Not likely, it would not be worth the considerable amount of time or money for it. They should have just delayed the game for 6 months and given more content for those who lacked it, then people wouldn't be feeling so dissatisfied.

I'm still hoping to see Kaidan with his godly biotic moment. Somehow the game makes me think he seems like one.

Kinda. Although I think even another year wouldn't have been enough to add proper content to all of the characters. BW simply created too many. I

Think if BW wants to release character!DLCs, they simply should do it in "packs".

- "Old friends Pack" - contains Miranda, Jack, Thane, Jacob, Samara and expands their role.
-> Samara: may be expanded to a "light LI" that hints being interested once everything is over.
-> Jacob: Altering romance so he's faithful in case he's the first romance for fem!Shep (no moving on from Kaidan / Liara).
-> Miranda: Cerberus centered series of missions. You also get Jacob and Jacob.
-> Thane: A mission the get a cure. It won't work, but at least gives Thane more time to live.
-> Jack: on a mission with Miranda.
-> More war assets related to those five guys.

I'd like to see something like that.

- "Survivor Pack" - contains both Virmire Survivors
-> Special series of missions Alliance/VS related. Re-introduction of the Mako.
-> Revised & expanded romance arc
-> Additional war assets
-> Additional non-romance "friendship" path

... yeah. Guess something like that. Each pack should add another 3 or 4 hours of gameplay at least.

Who decide what character is important? The most popular characters are Tali and Garrus (and Liara possibly) so I think most people would like to have DLC with them.

Jacob is the least "like" character among crew.

So.... no... I don't think it would work.

And for me? Miranda, Thane and Zaeed - yea, I would love to (aside from Garrus of course). The rest? I don't care much for them.

VS is already second the most developed companion in the game and have second best romance and you want exclusive DLC for him, but all other former companions that are now completely unimportant minor NPC should only get crappy all-in-one dlc?

I know that everyone want to get more of their favorites but, come on. ;)

And still - if you compare the VS with Liara, you suddenly realize why I'm talking like that.

Everything that makes Liara's romance that fulfilling and enjoyable is missing for Ashley and (on a slightly lesser extend) Kaidan.

I just told this a friend via PM: the VS romance feels incomplete since the illusion of the VS character gets damaged by lack of interaction OUTSIDE the romance. Check out Liara: you get plenty of interaction with her in the game, even if not romanced. Same for Garrus and Vega - I'm happy BW still has the skills to create amazing characters.

But with the VS, they failed. If you take away the romance arc, you only have two extra characters - and redundant ones too. Kaidan can be replaced by Liara. Ashley can be replaced by Vega or Garrus.
So all VS has is the romance arc. And nothing else.

Which is the reason why I want more content for them. Give'm some love, give them Liara!treatment.
And while BW is at it, they also should do some great justice for ME2 chars too. I doubt they're going to make a $10 DLC for each ME2 character - and if they do, it might feel like a scam.

No need to concur here, it's just my opinion.

Instead of a character specific mission or two DLC, I think something like the DA2 DLCs that allow you to access some to all of the ME2 for the length of the DLC could be feasible. You have to take out a Cerberus operation, and it just so happens that Jack, Miranda, and/or Jacob could join you for that segment. Characters could have specialized party dialog and be featured in dramatic cut-scenes and the epilogue could feature Shepard and his/her LI ready to share some quality time like LofSB.

An attempted coup needs to be put down on Tchunka. Certain rival Turian factions don't like the new primarch and need to be taken care of. Shepard has to work with his/her mom or other human captain on a mission. Shepard needs to rally members of his/her old street gang (or civilians in general) as part of the human resistance movement (featuring Anderson). Or Shepard could find a Cerberus operation that took part in Akuze. Batarian slavers figure they're doomed anyway, and want revenge on Shepard before they die by avenging Torfan.
