I said this is the worst ending to a video game I have ever seen . And its so bad it makes both endings to Halo 2 and 3 look half way better .

I said "maybe I choose the wrong color" and reloaded.....The I said well RAGE's ending was worse and moved onto multiplayer which is fun as hell.

I said Wow, they really made it! They really screwed the whole franchise in the last 5 minutes. The first game company to achieve this!

Then called my friend who laughed and said: I told you they would screw it up. Well I should have listened to him.

This in around 5 minutes while making some toast... Then I wen't on youtube to watch all the awesome ME series moments instead.

This is true the lack of places to go was disappointing, I mean even S****horpe has more shopping centres than the rest of the galaxy it seems.

1st Playthrough:


Denial: "Ah, I see, they did say something about war assets and how that would affect the ending. I probably don't have enough war assets."

(Stargazer scene: 1st time)

Indifference: "The winter theme's nice."

(extensive research on war assets, effective military strength, and how they affect the endings)

"Hmm... so I need some 5,000 war assets to get a secret ending, huh? But there are not that many in the game. Doesn't matter, I'll just give Jack some 10k points and Kirrahe another 10k points and problem solved."

2nd Playthrough:

Impatience: "Okay, yes, that happened. What else?"

(Deep Breath)



Bargaining (further denial): "Okay... it's not that bad, right? Surely there's some in-game rendered cutscene after the credits like 'From the Wreckage' with Alliance soldiers looking for Shepard or something. Full circle, you know?"

(Stargazer scene: 2nd time)

Anger: "What? Bull****! This is bull****! What is this?! Another framed narrative device?! What's wrong with these people? Why do they insist on doing this over and over again? And what's up with that kid who looks like a downsized version of an adult? You're telling me I just played a 20+ game twice in order to get a couple of pre-rendered five-second-long .bik movies? When did Shepard become Adam Jensen? No! I refuse to believe this!"

(several minutes later)



Acceptance: "Yeah... they screwed up bad."

Further bargaining: "Just give me Jade Empire 2 and all will be forgiven."

I was kidding with the last part.

Maybe.
