Well....given the wording of what I had to choose from on my playthrough, I picked green.

And had the pleasant surprise that someone who very much looked like my madam Shepard from afar stepped out of the Normandy at the end.....I'll leave it to you all to conclude who she might have resembled.

I can't quite recall what I said aloud once finished, but following this, I was like "heh, so that's it(?)" and wondered just what exactly was going on with that whole ending deal and browsed the internet some...given my illusion that my Shepard survives I was and still am convinced that they got to conclude with a full-blown follow-up large caliber DLC or even expansion to bring this to conclusion.

If they got any sense, that is.

EDIT: Just remembered, I_did_actually have one certain thing in my mind proceeding with the green choice:

"Let's go ahead with the Final solution, then."

Or something to that effect. Because, really, "solution"-terminology has a certain...shade...to it...

Thinking back on it, it makes the whole scene even_more_worthy of rejection.

Really??? Thats it??? Hmmmmm...What the *&$%# was that??? What did I do wrong??? Then, a brief, ah, now I know why everyone is so upset. I tried not to let it prejudice me but I didn't need it, I would've thought the same thing without all the media hype.

I think lose the godchild, bring in agent smith, swap the words Humans, for organic's and Planet for Galaxy and we are on the way to a better ending

As soon as I started talking to the god-child, I just started shaking my head and thinking, "Damn, the forum members were right."

1st attempt - Destroy: "Awww ****. I killed EDI and the geth, blew up the relays, and made my crew crash on a unexplored, tropical planet. *stares at screen* Wait... Ashley was with me when Harbinger gave me a taste of his red, molten, metal slug beam... How is she here now?" After credits: "No, something must be off here. Traynor must have some non-canon stuff to say about this."

25 minutes later: 2nd attempt - Control: "At least the Citadel survived this time. But why did it end like the Destroy one? Something is amiss..."

45 minutes later, my mind started to recover from the terrible shock that made me forget the plotholes until then: 3rd attempt - Synthesis. "I either ****ed up something terribly or they wanted it to end like this." *tries to walk away from Starwhelp, back to the magic elevator that brought Shep's body up there* *shoots Starwhelp with the infinite-ammo pistol* *finally resigns rebellion and walks toward the center beam, only to witness the synthesis of control and destroy ending*

Then I stared at the screen for about half an hour, read the forums for glimpses of hope about this wretch getting changed, watched the Hitler getting upset over ME3, and the Angry Joe review 'till 3 pm. I went to sleep, and the next day I felt even more depressed. I spent nearly the whole day reading BSN and watching the endings on youtube, falling into even greater despair.

Right now I'm in the Rage stage mixed with a little depression, disappointment, and doubt.

Well, it was 4AM when I finished my first playthrough, so I was just too damn tired to make any coherent thoughts of rage and desbelief.

No worries.  You'll get to the abiding anger and disgust stage in no time.  That one can be maintained indefinitely.

Only played one ending, but I was.....a little disappointed to say the least. Trying to make myself try a different play through...

I'll offer you a pointer to help you along.

It doesn't matter.  You'll get the same thing with your different play through...

WTF?? Why oh why did everything go bang.

As for destorying the reapers I can come up with one simple solution that will work create a trap to get reapers in a system and crash an astroid into the Mass Relay Boom bye bye Reapers.

I had already entered a state of disbelief just after the red beam of death hits (killing "marauder shields" with one - albeit wellplaced - pistol shot?!? what are the keepers doing amidst corpse-walls? etc.), but the ending(s)? Worse than disbelief!

I sat for an hour trying to make sense of it. Eventually my SO came around and said "there you go, just as in real life: your work your a** off and then everything's for nothing".

In my next playthrough I'm gonna have Shep grab Liara and off they go to some distant Asteroid to live happily ever after (at least until old age claims Shep), merrily drinking Serrice ice Brandy to absent friends, and the galaxy can go to hell. Same difference, just better.
