What does anyone think about Morinth's cameo, if you worked to save her from being hunted in ME2?

Like half the other cameos, it was completely useless.

Bro, she tried to save you from the ending. She's like marauder shields, but years ahead of her time.

Yeah I think both of them were working together to save shepard from the endings.

She is.  You would see her right after blowing away the anti-air reaper in London, before getting picked up by Anderson's shuttle.  And to make that fight quick, I used the second Cain on the ground.

Agreed. Your own damn fault if you make that obvious mistake.

Well at least you get to kill her for being useless. Was she the one that has a tendency to get cained before the FOB? Might be why I didn't notice on my dead samara playthrough.

Ah saw the comment above.

I actually liked Morinth. They literally gave every character from ME2 a mission except for her. (Maybe Zaeed as well, I haven't seen him, personally. Then again, I did skip a number of side missions)

Why give us the choice to save her in the second game (which was a BIG choice) if nothing will come of it?

Would it have been such a great stretch of the budget to put her in place of Samara, attempting to rescue and liberate her sisters?

Huh. Apparently I Cain'd her without knowing it. Could have done with a bit more I think, considering how hard she was to recruit. Weren't there some emails saying she was trying to contact her sisters at the monastery? Would have been nice to see her there, maybe an opportunity for some tense dialog with your companions if they find out what you did to Samara (though they never knowingly met Morinth so they wouldn't necessarily know what was going on.)

So Morinth is in 3? I'll have to youtube that, I picked Samara every time... I felt bad about it, but she was serial killer

Morinth is a total psychopath. Why would she risk herself to save her sisters?

I thought it was fitting. She left Shepard's side after the Alliance impounded the Normandy (for obvious reasons) and decided to flee from anyone who could possibly identify her. She made the wrong choice in the end, but at least it made sense for her character.

Another instance of BioWare being lazy I guess.

Did you know that there is a Phantom named Jack at the Cerberus HQ if you don't rescue Jack at Grissom Academy? I'm guessing that before the Omega mission got scrapped for DLC, there was a part on that station where you could save her too. Hopefully they will change it so you can save her when that DLC comes out. Best LI in the game TBH.

Jack gets the same treatment? Wow that sucks.

Morinth is a great character... Ardat-Yakshi are forced to live into a monastery or die... That's pretty harsh especially when you are a young (teen?) asari who planned something your futur.

"Hey sweetie, it seems you have a genetic failure, you'll kill every sexual partners you'll have.
Die or play chess for a millenia ?"

D:

She's not a serial killer on purpose

Only if you don't do the Grissom Academy mission in time. So it's a failure state. Jack's role is much larger than Morinth's. Also, if you sold Legion to the Illusive Man, you face him in the same place as Jack.

The idea that anyone -at all- finds Morinth in any way redeeming as a character just makes my teeth itch. I knew I was going to shoot her if at all possible about two seconds into the conversation to lure her in.

She's like the incarnation of nasty emo doom goth psychopath stereotypes.

Still a better person than Samara.
