I apologize if this has been posted before.
When playing ME3 with Kinect, Kaidan hardly ever does what I ask him to do. When I have barrier and reave queued as Shepard powers, the kinect doesn't seem to understand "barrier" and "reave". I think I got Kaidan to put up a barrier once, so I guess it isn't like it doesn't work at all.
I speak clearly and my other voice commands are understood. Sometimes too well, I mentioned a combat drone in conversation while my husband was playing an engineer. Fortunately, he was in a break between combat waves.

It's voice recognition. The technology is not on the level with Star Trek yet.
Even big companies who claim their programs capture 98% of spoken word have issues as everyone's voice is not the same. The figure actually approaches 80% on average.
For a 300 dollar piece of gaming equipment, I'd be surprised if it was 60%. Sorry.

I just noticed today that "Reave" in particular doesn't want to work at all. The same goes for Dominate from the DLC. Tried saying it with an accent and about 50 different ways, no dice.
