If anyone notice a mention in the press or magazines about the letter, please don't hesitate to post here to share the information.

Very tentative and random idea, but -

This is a good, long letter and it has a lot to say. So why don't we say it? Gather community members from BSN and record a reading of the letter. We can split it up by sentences, paragraphs, phrases...then piece it together, bit by bit. Maybe even have parts read in different languages with subtitles. Individualize us, humanize us. Show that we're each a person working towards a cause, not a faceless mass. Give true definition to the term "having our voices be heard". Post the final recording on YT, send it to BW, whatever.

I think it would be damn hard to coordinate, let alone put together. Also, I need sleep, so this might be a poor idea anyway. But just a proposal.

No i think it could be a good idea.

The truth of the matter, that we first need minimum stuff to record and much time to coordinate it, and it can be pretty hard as you say.

Is Anyone here that may set this idea in motion ?
I would help as i can.

Thats not a bad idea. I however, would not be able to help with it. I have absolutely no recording equipment.

Well, it would likely need its own thread to start things off. We'd need a staff to organize volunteers, distribute parts, put recorded lines in the correct order, arrange other editing details, etc. Maybe set up a shared e-mail account for readers to mail their recorded parts to. If we implement other languages, we'll need people who speak them as well to edit them into their proper place. The team would need to be able to coordinate with each other efficiently; I'd assume the easiest way would be through a client like Skype or an instant messaging service.

I just started spring vacation, so I could work on this for a full week if need be, but the idea may as well be tossed out if we can't get a team together.

Edit: @ Dont Shoot Me: Not a problem, if you'd like to help some other way. We'd need people for general editing and organizing as I said above, after all.

Well, I'm not quite leadership material  I wouldn't know where to begin, honestly, since I've never started a campaign like this before. If the idea got steam, though, I would certainly step up to the plate if nobody else could.

And thank you, I appreciate the sentiment. I've said this before, but I'm really grateful to you and the rest of the French community as well...I was starting to feel worn down before you all came forward and reached out to us with this letter, and suddenly my fire was restored. We truly are an amazing force to be reckoned with when we work together <3

Don't worry, you always could open a new thread and just explain your project, and ask people if someone could help or feel able to take this initiative.

I would take it in charge if i had the time and the stuff, but be sure that i will help as much as i can if this step starts.

Edit :
here is an idea for a thread title :

"After writing a letter, fans around the world use their "voices" (recording project)."

(Or maybe Dont Shoot Me would have a title more comprehensible -yes, i'm still french and reach sometimes my limits ^^-)

I already get to the part " we intend to be respectful ..."
But i should go to sleep now... maybe in a few minutes... it's fun to translate...
Maybe i'll change some sentences a bit cause it sounds better, is that okay? The content will be the same.

@Gendocrono : /salute Holding the line!

@KaeXxX I changed some sentences when I translated from French to English. It's okay, and is kind of necessary at times, you can't translate things word for word!

Well it depends on how we would go about this. If we plan on recording video and audio, I would suggest we title it  "A video from fans around the world to the teams in charge of Mass Effect 3". If we plan on just recording audio, I would title it "A reading from fans around the world to the teams in charge of Mass Effect 3".

As of now, the plan is to take the recordings and put them in a video that will display the letter's contents as it's being read (perhaps with images in the background to give it flavor). We can create a strictly audio version of it as well, of course. Working project name is "Let Our Voices Be Heard - A letter from fans around the world for the teams in charge of Mass Effect 3". If you'd like to join up as staff, shoot me a PM! I'll be posting the main thread tonight and link it here :D
