I'm also going with ego. When a writer creates something they're convinced is epic and artful and treats all feedback to the contrary as philestines who don't understand, then something has gone very wrong.

This is why impartial proofreading is vital. This could've been stopped at the development stage.

Not exactly the same but...it is true that EA maybe share for the blame as well since they are BioWare's parent company. EA can put a lot of pressure to BioWare's employe by many kind of methods.

EA has been a dirty company for over a decade. I have zero respect for them, but they publish a lot of the best developers work, which really annoys me.

the day Bioware let it's self be bought by EA was the day Bioware died, How could you think this was a good idea? Damn Bioware I love your games but sadly i don't think I'll buy one for a long time

Still does not change the fact that they forced ME3 to be released half-done.
I can say the same about them rushing BF3. That game is completely different now than it was at day one, since people CARED and HELD THE LINE.

in my opinion bioware is too blame, and because EA is affiliated with bioware now its easy to say its EAs fault.

but the truth is bioware is fully to blame.

People seem to forget that Bioware is EA´s golden child. Let´s look at all the studios under the EA banner, and see wich ones, sports aside, have the kind of position that Bioware has on the market. Dice comes the closest, but even then falls behind. And Biowaree management sits very high on EA´s corporate strucutre. Have serious doubts that EA has the pull necessary to make Bioware release an ending so unfinished.

As much as I understand why people hate EA, I don't think EA gave a hoot about the writing.

They're a corporation and all they care about is meeting the deadline and staying in the budget.

Blame the writing on Bioware, but blame EA if the games are shipped out too early.

I don't care who's fault it is, and it is kinda pointless. They still can make it right, that's all that matters.
