Since ME1 the whole Gamemechanic drifted from a RPG/Action game more and more to an Thridperson Shooter with a fixed Story.
Sure every now and then you can make choices but it doesn't feel like they really matter (especially in the end). But that's something most games these days do. They try to resemble gameplay like CoD MW or GoW. Solid combat and a 'movie like' story which you only need to follow.
ME1 i was eager to do a second, third, fourth...... playthrough. Tried many different styles in combat, squad combinations and did several missions in different orders. The Story, the universe and the possibilities seemed huge. Exploring the planets with a vehilcle, Questhubs i could revisit and so on.
ME2 i think i did two or three playthroughs a Paragon, Renegade and some sort of mix. The game already felt more like a TP Shooter than an RPG but i could still visit different Places and so on.
ME3 instantly felt like a TP Shooter from the begining. Removed option to holster weapons but increased combat capabilities, several dismemberment animations, rolling/jumping into/over cover and so on.
There were no questhubs except for the citadel most missions had to be done in a given order and so on. I often had the feeling that now the combat was 'interrupted' by an attempt to insert the feeling of RPG.
I seem to recall that Bioware said that they would react to the complaints people had about ME2 regarding the smaller RPG features and add more into ME3, but i think they didn't accomplish this 'goal'.
So for me, until they do something regarding the ending and add more RPG content with DLC, the replay value is very close to zero.

Sol

For ME3, NG+ I got past Tuchanka, thought about how amazing that part of the game was..reloaded Tuchanka, now I'm trying to convince myself the game was only about Tuchanka and replaying it over and over. As a Talimancer I really want to re-do Rannoch, but I don't have any saves before it, and I can't bring myself to playing through to it.

Yeah, now i know that from my real life....so i hope that Bioware/EA will learn that too. That they will not see any one more dollar from me not because I hate them but beause I don´t want to play that anymore...my choices doesn´t matter so I hope that my money doesn´t matter to Bioware.
EDIT: And the insanity looks like it´s not insanity anymore. Well Bioware you should learn from CDproject and witcher. Hardcore means hardcore, people dying and repeating each part 20 times. I just die if I´m not paying attention to the game (like having icecream
And the same for changing ME to Tp shooter. ME1+2 were great I don´t understand why change the course so much.....I don´t want to play Call of Effect...

It's easier to play through the beginning, the genophage arc is just awesome, but the further I go into the game, the less interest I have in it.
That's disturbing for me. When I play a game, I want to do it in one sitting. Not play an hour now, wait a week, then play another hour.
Same here. I started the 2nd playthrough about 1 week ago... with many interruptions. Yesterday I finally made it to earth. I played the first part of earth and then abort it. This feeling about the not changing ending is a pain in the a**. It was the whole second "playthrough".

I don't just have a hard time playing through ME3 I'm having problems doing any gaming at all. I finished ME3 15 days ago and yesterday was the first time I turned on the XBox after the ending. I ended up turning off the XBox before I ever bothered to put a game in it -- just watched a few previews.
I had the same problem. Then I played Deux Ex Human Revolution.

I want to play the other classes too but the abysmal start if you start with just 3 sucks and ME1 is too clunky for me to start a new one.

I've started my third playthrough because there are moments all throughout the game that I want to re-live and I still have some hope that BioWare will do the sensible thing and fix the end. Until then, that's all I have to keep me going.
