I've done three play throughs already. Would not mind a fourth.

Played twice. Got "happy" ending. Completely unsatisfied, began singing "The Doom Song" because that's what's happened to the universe.

Yes, did 4 replays, want to go for fifth and sixth (I think with ME1/2 I had about 15 replays with each), but I just can't bring myself into doing it... I was able to block it out at first (hence 4 replays), but after seing "boom" for the fourth time, it just... No... M.

I would't say i've 'trouble' with another playthrough, but i am just not motivated. I don't recall which website stated that ME3 is a 'RPG on rails' and i concur to that opinion.

Since ME1 the whole Gamemechanic drifted from a RPG/Action game more and more to an Thridperson Shooter with a fixed Story.

Sure every now and then you can make choices but it doesn't feel like they really matter (especially in the end). But that's something most games these days do. They try to resemble gameplay like CoD MW or GoW. Solid combat and a 'movie like' story which you only need to follow.

ME1 i was eager to do a second, third, fourth...... playthrough. Tried many different styles in combat, squad combinations and did several missions in different orders. The Story, the universe and the possibilities seemed huge. Exploring the planets with a vehilcle, Questhubs i could revisit and so on.

ME2 i think i did two or three playthroughs a Paragon, Renegade and some sort of mix. The game already felt more like a TP Shooter than an RPG  but i could still visit different Places and so on.

ME3 instantly felt like a TP Shooter from the begining. Removed option to holster weapons but increased combat capabilities, several dismemberment animations, rolling/jumping into/over cover and so on.
There were no questhubs except for the citadel most missions had to be done in a given order and so on. I often had the feeling that now the combat was 'interrupted' by an attempt to insert the feeling of RPG.

I seem to recall that Bioware said that they would react to the complaints people had about ME2 regarding the smaller RPG features and add more into ME3, but i think they didn't  accomplish this 'goal'.

So for me, until they do something regarding the ending and add more RPG content with DLC, the replay value is very close to zero.

Regards,

Sol

I can't even play through ME1 anymore, about 6 hours in with 30 saves because I keep giving up, saving, exiting..waiting a while, trying again, sad really.

For ME3, NG+ I got past Tuchanka, thought about how amazing that part of the game was..reloaded Tuchanka, now I'm trying to convince myself the game was only about Tuchanka and replaying it over and over. As a Talimancer I really want to re-do Rannoch, but I don't have any saves before it, and I can't bring myself to playing through to it.

After reading that, yes.

oh wow there was a scene with Major Kirrahe ?!?!  It would have been far more epic to see that than only see it as text in War assets

I´m not motivated to play again. I have prepared like 5 different walktrough of ME1+2 because I was eager to see differencies. To see the impact of my choices. May be I´m naive but I like to play hero who can overcome any odds and change something even if I have to die during it... I understand, that the story is "art" and we are playing game as creators wanted us to play it. But why make such a good RPG with lot of choices? Why? Just to show that the life not fair at the very end and we cannot have what we would like?

Yeah, now i know that from my real life....so i hope that Bioware/EA will learn that too. That they will not see any one more dollar from me not because I hate them but beause I don´t want to play that anymore...my choices doesn´t matter so I hope that my money doesn´t matter to Bioware. :)

EDIT: And the insanity looks like it´s not insanity anymore. Well Bioware you should learn from CDproject and witcher. Hardcore means hardcore, people dying and repeating each part 20 times. I just die if I´m not paying attention to the game (like having icecream :D)

And the same for changing ME to Tp shooter. ME1+2 were great I don´t understand why change the course so much.....I don´t want to play Call of Effect... :D

I played through it twice. I tried my best to pretend that IT is true and it makes the ending seem less horrible.

It's easier to play through the beginning, the genophage arc is just awesome, but the further I go into the game, the less interest I have in it.

That's disturbing for me. When I play a game, I want to do it in one sitting. Not play an hour now, wait a week, then play another hour.

Same here. I started the 2nd playthrough about 1 week ago... with many interruptions. Yesterday I finally made it to earth. I played the first part of earth and then abort it. This feeling about the not changing ending is a pain in the a**. It was the whole second "playthrough".

I don't have any problem replaying again, I just never finish my playthroughs and make up my own ending. Untill Bioware fixes the endings and adds at least one happy ending with Shepard and his crew reunited, I'm not gonna finish a playthrough again nor buy any DLC.

It's very difficult. My original playthrough was over the course of something like 3 or 4 days, while my insanity run has been taking me forever since and I haven't even been to Rannoch yet. At this point the only motivation is the achievement to be honest. There's no satisfaction in playing the game itself anymore.

Started a newgame+ on Insanity a few days ago. Finished Priority: Palaven, then started remembering all of the fetch quests, running around the Normandy to talk to everyone after every mission, and, of course, the ending... Started playing Gears, Soul Calibur, etc again. I just don't want to go near the single player anymore. It's been said a thousand times here on BSN, but that ending killed any replay value for me.

Atm there is nothing as sensless as replaying Me 3. Why even bother in the end it doesnt really matter.
Waiting for Bioware. If they dont address this feeling of emptiness with their fix im not playing Me 3 or any other bioware game ever again.

I played ME1 and 2 at least 5-6 times each. However I can't bring myself to do a complete second playthrough of 3. This is sad really. I enjoy myself until the citadel and then get insanely bored.

I don't just have a hard time playing through ME3 I'm having problems doing any gaming at all. I finished ME3 15 days ago and yesterday was the first time I turned on the XBox after the ending. I ended up turning off the XBox before I ever bothered to put a game in it -- just watched a few previews.

I replayed it to try to tie up some of the achivments wrapped up. I mean the story the ending there is some really emotional moments.. I just save and achive before i attack the stronghold everything after that is ending i run it just to be able to archive it.

I want to play the other classes too but the abysmal start if you start with just 3 sucks and ME1 is too clunky for me to start a new one.

I did finish a second playthrough. I didn't go past the final gauntlet puch through London. Why bother? It ends poorly no matter what.

I've started my third playthrough because there are moments all throughout the game that I want to re-live and I still have some hope that BioWare will do the sensible thing and fix the end. Until then, that's all I have to keep me going.

I was planning on going back after ME3 and buying ME1 to do a complete play through from scratch. Now ME3 is on a shelf and I'm not buying ME1. Why? Because when you get to the end of ME3 you realize that nothing you do makes any difference. There is only one ending in 3 colors. Heck, you cannot even get to the Shepard Lives sound-bite unless you play MP or edit the save game. You, as Shepard, are irrelevant. Why play a game where the final message is "you are irrelevant".
