After i completed his quest...I"m unable to pick him as a companiom, he stays in the chantry and when i talk to him, he keeps whining about "andraste have mercy on my family"..Something like that...Please help.

P.S: Sorry for my bad english, isn't my first language

If you mean the quest to kill the mercenaries in the first act, he is not supposed to join you then. He will only join after you come back from Bartrand's Deep Roads expedition.
