I wont attempt the game if there are not at least 3 people playing...sometimes a 4th pops in to save the day.

That is disconcerting to me when it happens.  I try to join a game and suddenly find myself in the middle of a game in progress.  Takes me some time to get my wits.

That's why I always give multiplayer a wide bearth unless it's on some private server where you know who's going to join you.
