Kaidan was more requested as an S/S romance. Plus, even in ME1, it was hinted he may be interested in Shepard (imo).

I prefer Ashley not being an S/S, it doesn't fit in well with her character.

I don't think you can actually romance him - I think the dialog for guys and girls overlapped a bit too much, and the flirting thing is actually a joke (guys do joke about that, occasionally).
On the other hand, if anyone's discovered a secret gay Kaiden romance, I'd love to know about it (won't play it, probably, but it'd be interesting information).

all you do to romance him in ME3 is after u pick him up on the citadel u look for him in the presidum commons he will be sitting at a table looking at a menu. then u will sit down and talk. at one point he will tell u he is restless and then after shep asks why he tells u (male) casue i want something meaningful with someone i admire. and then asks if u want that too so u can say yes and be his lover or stay friends. (female) he says he misses u (if u romanced him in part 1) / that he likes u and wants to find somthing deeper with u.

I love his romance, it was very well done. the gay romance doesnt seem pushed its just right and the straight romance, well its just as good as liaras.

It's certainly heavily suggested in his dialogue. While Ash's has a different tone whether you're male or female.

All available literature that isn't doused with religious logic says so. People are social creatures, and do not choose to ostracize themselves. Homosexuality exists in over 1500 animal species including apes. Homophobia exists in just one.

There is still some debate about that in the scientific community. There is no overwhelming consensus, outside of politicized scientific circles. Religion has little to do with the scientific opinions on the matter.

And this is coming from somebody who takes a "live and let live" attitude, and has no real problem with homosexuality in general. In fact, between consenting adults, I advocate sexual freedom. Just wanted to point that out before some knee-jerk, assclown decides to call me a "homophobe".

Oh look, an unchecked homophobic comment. Thank god? You know what's funny, there are gay relationship options in this game! You don't have to partake in them, but you can if you want. Isn't that nice?

Seriously, this thread is disheartening. Everyone talking about 'going gay' and people not being a certain sexuality because of their chosen religion. Think about yourself for a second; did you pick your sexuality? I didn't. People aren't just choosing to be gay because they feel like being looked down upon by a large chunk of society.

I think asari/femshep is just interspecies. Gay or lesbian meant something when we got something like man/man or female/female.
