Haha, you may want to revisit some conversations with Ashley in ME 1 before you wonder why she's not gay.

Wasn't it more demanding that Kaidan become gay, compared to Ashley? Not saying it's right, but Bioware did add a lot of things because of constant want from fans - look at the final app hours and how it states they added Tali because of her popularity -

"From the "Final Hours of Mass Effect 3" app:

"The Quarian character Tali, for instance, whom Shepard could romance in ME2, was not originally planned to appear in the third game as a squadmate. Her mass popularity caused the team to reverse that decision during the early planning of ME3."

I think a lot more of the FemShep content was put in to please male players who opted to play her than it was to get female players really happy.. Did you even see the ME3 dress?

This is really obivious with all of the lesbian romances in the game. And the asari race in general. We get how many S/S romances and guys get like... two?

Aye.. I don't mind having S/S romances, and I wouldn't like them to be removed from the game, but the issue is that you've got 1 S/S that is utterly pointless (Chobot) and 2 S/S that are pretty much just there for the sex scene because of a lack of depth anywhere else (Traynor/Kelly). Asari.. Basically just blue women. No need to expand on that point.

The ME3 romances for hetero women who don't die/knock up another woman within 5 minutes.. 1 is a guy who has ****ed you out for ages, and the other has obvious physical problems regarding intimacy because they're a different species. Yay.

Maybe they decided to give the characters some difference. There were already complaints that the VS were basically the same character. Personally I think they should have left Kaidan alone and made James a full romance for both genders. That would have helped with differentiating Ashley/Kaidan, having and abrupt change of the character at the end of the game, and made another full romance for Femshep.
Furthermore why? Lesbian Shepard has three options. Gay Shepard has two. Straight Male Shepard has three. Straight Female Shepard has one. The true problem is how Straight female characters lucked out. Furthermore Straight Female Shepards could have none if Kaidan is dead, Gay Shepard could only have one if Kaidan is dead, and Straight Male Separd could end up with two. Lesbian Shepard always has three options. The character you should be upset about is Vega being only a flirt option.

Since when does "does it bother you that I believe in God?" (was god even capitalized in the subtitles?) translate to "I'm a Christian/heavily religious"? And since when can't a Christian like other women/men? What am I then?

Really, this narrow view of religion makes me sick.

Not everyone in the future should be bisexual, Thats absurd.

It makes the most sense that some characters would be straight, some bi and some gay. That's what we Got and I'm glad of it

Many of her Star Wars books and Gears of War books are filled with horrible amounts of misogyny, to the point that both were eventually disowned (of course, not for that reason alone) by their sources.
Her personal fantasy of Star Wars Mandalorians for example involved big tough men and their women literally being in the kitchen.

Yeah, I agree with this. Even though I would have liked Ash to be a S/S option originally, I'm okay with her not being one. What I'm not okay with is Kaidan being the only hetero relationship a femShep can have in ME3. I love Kaidan to death but I don't want all my hetero FemSheps to end up with Garrus (if I romanced him in ME2) or Kaidan. Needs more variety.

Pro tip. Go read a book on human psychology and study the part about human sexuality. Ashley won't go gay because you can't. She was born straight. If someone has concrete evidence to prove otherwise that doesn't involve religious ideology I'll be glad to hear it.

You would think it would be impossible but here is the GOP trying to wage a war on women with women in full support of them.

It depens on "feminism" definition.  Peacefull fight for social equality is one thing.  Radical one  is completely different.

There is no rule that says women can't be misogynists.

In fact, it is a lot more common than you think.

Personally, I think Grunt is the gayest person on the squad. Look at him, he is just so happy.

Legion is the queerest. He is just so odd.

I support GruntxMaleShep for DLC romance.

The point, I think you missed it

I know this - I know not all women are feminists, but I do think women must be slightly bonkers if they're against equality for their gender. Also, I'm not American, so thankfully I don't need to deal with those politics (lived there a short while, and that was enough for me)..

I could be wrong but didn't Jennifer Hale record lines in which FemShep romanced Ashley?

I found this: youtu.be/2Mwiqq-Y5r4
