Well, call someone a ****ing idiot is a really rude way to address this whole thing, even if you are right, but the reason that this all started was that he tweeted about finishing the game, liked the ending and that people should stop complaining about it and that the whole retake mass effect thing, the donations drives and players wanting refunds was too absurd to him.

But then people started to cram his inbox with homophobic insults and even bringing up his break-up with his ex-girlfriend (which was a big part of his depression problems), so yeah... I would be pretty pissed too.

I was under the impression that his fundamental thesis was that the ending is what you choose to make it. He prefers a certain interpretation. Others might have theirs. But people ought to have the clarity of mind to sit back, decide for themselves, and call it a day.

He was, really. I don't want to be handheld through the ending, you don't need to explain every little detail. But that's just me, and I can see why people would be pissed about it. I kinda got the whole indocrination thing as I was playing too, so it was fine by me. If there is a upcoming dlc to explain the whole thing, I'll get it. If not, I'm fine with it.

Anyway, he was actually being pretty polite about it, joking around and discussing it with other guys from TGWTG, like Benzaie and AngryJoe, until people started trashtalking him and teasing him about his ex. That's not cool.

I've watched and enjoyed some of Spoony's stuff but I have no time for this. My ability to consider your opinion's merit vanishes when it's drowning in such arrogance.

Quite frankly, I'm also sick of comments claiming that other players are stupid and just "didn't get" the ending. That is disgustingly condescending.

Unlike totalbisuct, he is an internet celebraty as part of the channel awesome review/comedy sketch site.

Also, he's actually invited to speak at a lot of cons, which I believe totalbiscut has not. Also, anyone who know little kuriboh and doug walker is just awesome, hands down.

I took the time to watch some of his other videos, and he has the nerve to call us losers for getting angry over a video game ending? Have you seen his Twilight Breaking Dawn review? He spends an HOUR talking about how terrible the movie is! He thinks he's smarter then everyone else but he is looking like an idiot in the process.

Yeah well here's the differenc between him and you, he gets paid to do it, cause he knows how to be funny while complaining about something. He can make an average internet rant into something halarious to watch, and that's his job.

He entertais people, he finds ways for his opinion to entertain, and that's the basic truth. You guys just write walls of text and shout down anyone who doesn't agree with it, and you do it as a part of your free time. It's more sad than funny cause no humor is interjected at all, it's just complaint after complaint and it's expected to be taken seriously, as if making fun of it is the same as desicrating a bible.

So when you get funny enough that wou can get advertisers, a deal with an internet distribution site, and people willing to give you money in donations, you can bash people all day long and expect some leway in what you say.

Crazy part is, he actually has a couple of valid points.  But since most of the video is him ****ing about the community it's lost in the garbage.

Well, you guys did flood his tweeter feed before he made this vidoe, what your seeing is pretty much an hour long battle on tweeter over people complaining non stop about the endings and someone whos sick of hearing it.

Essentially, he thinks it was patently obvious that it was indoctrination going on throughout the game. 

if Indoctrination theory is right, Bioware has created the biggest mind screw in video game history
if indoctrination theory is wrong Bioware we are dissapoint because then we simply have plot holes with no upside

His review of FFX was asinine, nitpicky and frankly incorrect more often than not. Even the FFVIII one just droned on and one over nothing. Why this guy has a following is beyond me. Granted, this may be my opinion but neither of those games are anywhere close to as bad as he attempts to make them out to be. In fact, both, especially FFX, are fantastic.

I used to think that back when I first played X in 2001. But after about 9 years of not playing it again I watched his review and honsetly, I had blacked out from my mind how bad the dubbing was, how dumb the characters look, and how very stupid the plot and antagonist is.

I also forgot about blitzball, the chocobo army taking on sin, the albed, wakka joking about the albed's entire city getting destroyed with the majority of people still inside, "Boom! Like happy festival fireworks, ya?" Really wakka, Really?

Man, I love Spoony, but that video was just horrible. He clearly isn't that invested in Mass Effect.

I'm watching it rigth now and he's like "Who cares about the Tali stock photo? It was lazy, yeah, but who cares?"
Everyone cares, Spoony. I never romanced Tali but I still care.
