Hello

I want to make a fireplace, but I don't want the light to be all static.
I understand that I have to make an animated light and I have tried to make the light "flicker" in this way.

I get it to work, but I never get the result that I want!

Does anyone have any good values to put in the frequency box ect... ?
Does the animated light make the same results as static light, but with flickering?

This is for a interior medium fireplace. I don't really think this is required for small candles.

Thanks :)

Read through the VFX tutorial in the wiki. Part 3 tells you how to make your light flicker.

Thank you, I was wondering that myself. Great toolset, thanks to the wikis, everything is fairly easy to do but there's still a lot of things to learn.
