If there is a ME 4? Yes, I would. I would like to see what jury-rigged contraption the races put together to pass as Mass Relays to get around the Galaxy. I thought the ending made for a very solid ending, with hints towards him being alive in one to ardent fans pacified, frankly I think he's alive in Paragon- Control ending aswell. If they truly were going to make a part 4, or had intentions, both Paragon and Renegade endings would hint Shepard surviving to be obvious, so Idk

I will - Think about it, this existed on one galaxy, there are frickin loads of galaxys they could use their imagination to any extent.

Yup and I don't get how people are saying no based on ME3s ending.

Most people's complaint with ME3's ending is that it didn't show you the effects of your choices in some epilogue. Surely a fourth game with the option to import your ME3 save would be the ultimate extended ending? Sure, you're not going to be playing Shepard unless Bioware change their minds on Shepard's story being a trilogy but it's be the perfect way to see the effects of Shepard's story, by actually controlling someone in the middle of them.

No, not at the moment. And in saying that I don't mean it as a "threat". I've just lost interest in the Mass Effect universe at this point. There is still a chance they could win me back but... eh we'll see.

It depends on two things:

1) The quality of the coming DLC. It has to be epic to make up for what we were given.

2) It better be free. We've all already paid full retail price for what we thought was a full game. If Bioware were to intentionally hold back the ending and then make us pay more money for it? I'd never buy another BW product again.

If it is free, if it is good, I'll forgive this bump in the road and continue buying BW products including ME4 if it is ever made.

I don't think I'll be so fast to purchase it as I was this time. I can't really say no because I have no idea what new team will possibly take on the new game ( As there is always a change up, especially since there will be a long pause of time before it even exists).

And...

What kind of game it is --- if its some strange RTS/FPS --- I'll wait for the bargain bin thank you.

If they really believed messing up the ending in ME3 was a good idea, thats there problem. Whats done is done, but I put my poor  CE copy away for now, no sense on replaying it really.

I don't think they can have a successful Mass Effect game without Shepard. He/She is Mass Effect.

Just because you're fond of throwing your money away doesn't mean everyone else feels likewise. For me, ME3 did to Mass Effect what DAII did to Dragon Age: completely annihilated my interest in the universe.

I see no reason to continue investing money in something in which I've no interest.

Yeah I probably would. One crappy ending won't completely ruin my view of Bioware. I might now buy the game on day 1 like I did with ME2 and 3, but if I heard good things, I'd probably get it.
