No, i got right now no interest in the franchise and no intention to spend any money on Bioware games. Still they got a chance to convince me that they're not completely blind to their consumers
After me 3 ending, do you still plan to buy me4?

Not much point. ME4 will either canon an ending, be a prequel or a spin off.

Mass Effect has been the best game series I have ever played, sure the ending sucked, but they are going to fix that.
I believe Bioware will still continue to deliver great games, so I think a Mass Effect universe game could be awsome if it is a RGP and in a different time period than the trilogy.

Nope, but it ain't because of the endings. I just know that Miranda will have no role in the future chapters, so I have no reason to play really.

this is my opinion :
another chepter whit Shepard yes !
but if this chepter not have Shepard or any squad member not !
Shepard its Mass Effect !
Mass Effect its the Stroy of Shepard!
Liara and Shepard as the column of this Story for obvious reason.
and if Sheaprd not is in the next Mass Effect , this Mass Effect its dead for me.
this is my opion , shareable or not.

It depends entirely on the what ME4 or whatever is all about...I know the endings were bad but the rest of the game was brilliant and if the keep that level of quality to other games than sure i will by the next game. They made a mistake in the ending of ME3 but if the learned from that, why not?

Last 3 or 4 games released have been a let down so id say no!! at least until Id researched further possible to the extent id leave it till week after its release just to see the reaction on forums.
What is more likely to happen is I will deny their games till I spotted some leaked footage then breathing would become erratic vision blurry.. continuing saying to myself must not buy!!!
Download demo pre-order then buy on release.. Play for silly hours, get annoyed with how dumbed down its been made, read forums & nod my head in agreememnt to various complaints that mirror my own.. follow links in threads till end up watching ending spoiler, feeling let down, cant continue game for the moment.... wait until the cycle refreshes for the next release

if they leave ending like current crap - no. No logical closure - no money from me.

No, and not only ME4, but any Bioware game. And if I buy it, then a year later for half or quarter the price. Somehow I have no need to be screwed again and again (DA2, ME2 and now ME3).

I thought it was a trilogy and answer, if it somehow suddenly became an infinite series of games CoD style, and there will be ME4 is NO WAY!

If ME3 ending have new possibility which doesn't hinder the possibility to play my Shepard or at least more, complete, endings, I'll consider buying it when I'll really know what the game is worth.
Unless that, I won't risk more than 5 bucks in one of their games.

Very little reason to buy ME4 at this point.
With my luck with would have DA2's pacing and feel and ME3's ending.

would be very cautious ... and not buy immediately ... no longer trust reviews from IGN & Gamespot ... to be sure not to repeat the painful experience of ME3. But perhaps never unless I hear something good from the actual gamers in forums.

If they fix the ending, maybe. If not, I think I'd just be too disappointed in that particular division of Bioware.

Posté 26 mars 2012 - 12:27
Maybe, if the ending is fixed properly. otherwise I don't see the point since the current ending ruined not only the game but the entire franchise.

Just one answer to that question: No.
#222
Posté 26 mars 2012 - 12:39
There will be no ME4 so the question is moot.
But since we are simply doing a wild hair up the @ss speculation game here...NO.
This hypothetical game would be even LESS RPG and even MORE FPS with a HUGE focus on multiplayer and a RETARDED MMO. No thought or planning required, so it is easy. That's what Bioware is all about now, the EASY out that makes them some $$. RPGs are too much work, take too much planning and writing.

I would definitely buy an ME4, if it's anythingn as good as ME3. ME3 was one of the best games ever, even if the last ten minutes or so could have used some more epilogue content. Why wouldn't someone buy ME4?

Nah, if they don't fix the junk endings this is a good place to jump off.
If this is the direction they're taking ME in, I have no use for it anymore.
I loved ME because it was a rollicking space opera with lots of action/adventure and great sci-fi concepts. That was the lure for me, and not the pretentious metaphysics that closed out part 3.

(thread hop alert)
Knowing EA, there's a chance that while BW is working on some new IP, there will be a gaiden game made by an outside (or side?) company. If it's gonna be Obsidian, I'm pre-ordering the spiffiest edition they will promise, maybe two. Anyone else... not so much. Well, MAYBE if it's the guys that made Amalur, but only maybe. And not without playing a demo first.
If it's BW doing it, I'm going to contemplate, see if there's a pre-release demo, then consider pre-ordering based on demo. (For example, I pre-ordered DA2 solely because of the demo and never regretted it) If there's no pre-release demo, I will wait until the reviews pour in. From people I know IRL, preferrably, because everyone has that bizarre friend that has to buy EVERY AAA game (and still somehow has money left to spare to get more and more of those WH40K soldiers he collects), and so do I.
