Seriously, all we get is a romance scene that last, about what, 5 seconds.

Why do the kaidan, Ashley and Liara romances get long romance scens while it's Tali and Garrus who don't have a long romance scene with their respective Shepard's

And if Jack did have a scene, then I would either be pissed either way becasue the Jackolytes would have got a "Long romance" scene or a "5 second romance" scene

I Was (And Still am) Bloody pissed off about the romance scene for Tali Lets see shall we?

Ashley's Romance Scene:

*Shepard and Ashley talk for about a minuite*

*Start to kiss*

*Romance Scene*

*Stupid Kid Night-mare*

*Shepard wakes up and they talk for a bit (about a minuite)*

Garrus/Tali's Romance Scene:

*They talk for 25/30 seconds*

*Small kiss*

*Stupid Kid Night-mare*

*Shepard wakes-up and they talk for about 35 seconds*

I know Tali arrives quite late into the game but Garrus as little romance interactions added to the friendship convos all along the game. He gives shep support and flirts with her here and there. She can also confort him about his family in a 'romanced' way. Its quite well done.

Theres no big sexytime scene with Garrus probably because it would have needed lots of animation work (lets face it, the kisses are horrible to see, the rest cant get any better).

Theres also the fact that since Garrus is on the Normandy since the start and that their romance dialogue implies they are having some alone times, a big 'I just realized I always loved you now lets have sex' moment like with the VS would have been completly out of character. Their sexytime scene is made to show them more as an established couple, which fits perfectly with their last convo where they talk about adopting babies and such.

to be honest I think many of the players who actually romanced Garrus are satisfied by what they got. Its often people who jsut look up the sexytime scene on youtube that have a problem with it...

You really think that BioWare would go out of their way to make a new skin and texture for naked quarians and turians just for a romance scene? It's easy to make the romance scenes longer for the human/asari options because they all share the same body. They just have to change the skin tone.

No we didn't get enough, compare Liara's, Kaidan's and Ashley's romance scene to Tali's and Garrus' and ask again if we get more than enough.

And no I don't want to know what a Turian d!ck looks like, and besides I was just highlighting the lack of love shown to two of the most popular characters

BioWare have rule 34 to give them ideas, so they could have used "Fan Co-Creation".


And also, becasue it's easier is not an excuse to make the ManShep/Tali and the FemShep/Garrus romance scenes short.

I thought the Garrus and Tali scenes were really well done, and looking at the romance as a whole I think they were handled the best. Seeing as Kaidan or Ashley weren't there for Mass Effect 2 it was nice that they got a longer reunion.

But the main reason I can't bash them is because of cases like Jack. The final dialogue with her was just so bland for a final goodbye.

Not really, Garrus has his regular cloth (Or what-ever it is made of) outfit, I would guess that would be hard to get out-of, Thats liable. And with Tali, she would have the possibility of dieing, But she would just have her mask off (which they could have used to un-veil her face).

Even worse, for people who romance Thane? 0.o I mean come on...

I don't know. On one hand I am very pleased with Garrus scene (no awkward animation compared to ME2), everyhting is smooth (except disappearing that thing she had in hand, but it's small). On the other: soo... short? 0.o

You cant equal the lack of sexytime with a lack of love from the devs. Garrus has way more dialogue on the Normandy then the VS for example. Their romance arc just plays out diffrently. With Garrus you get to feel like your Shep and him are equals and they rule the Normandy together. He gives insight on the missions and supports Shep.  With the VS its about finally having him/her back (... then bam you die <_<).

I dont know about Tali since you get her so late in the game, tho.

You do realise that Tali is no longer to become sick after bumpin' uglies with Shepard because her immune system has adapted to Shepard's d!ck being inside her, so BioWare have got no excuse for not showing a Tali extended scene.

And about Turians, just look at rule 34 and look for naked Turians, I did. and they seemed alright as much as I hate to admit it

Psh, the whole Garrus arch was still the best romance in the games, for my money, lack of snuggletime dialogue be damned.

Now let Thane talk and someone notice he died, and I'll be totally good on the romancefront.

Though looking at those videos again, you know what I REALLY envy the Liaramancers? SHEETS. Poor little Shepard, laying alone on the bed in their undies with no damn sheets over them.

It depends on what you think is important.. I've played Kaidan's , Liara's ,Thane's and Garrus' romance so far and yes, ME1 LI get more sexy time.. BUT if you're talking about a "lack of love shown" then you're just wrong.. during the whole game there are nice little snippets  and exchanges that make it very clear that Garrus and Tali are in a relationship with Shepard, much more than Kaidan for example. Kaidan has some conversations, a dinner and sexy time but in between those scenes it never felt like they were "together".

Would it've been nice if they made a similar romance scene for Garrus & Tali? Of course... speaking from game making experience however, creating this specific content takes a lot of time and resources and they had to make some cuts..

So sex scene or no sex scene, I think Garrus' romance was better executed than Kaidan's and Ashley
