No we didn't get enough, compare Liara's, Kaidan's and Ashley's romance scene to Tali's and Garrus' and ask again if we get more than enough.

And no I don't want to know what a Turian d!ck looks like, and besides I was just highlighting the lack of love shown to two of the most popular characters

It depends on what you think is important.. I've played Kaidan's , Liara's ,Thane's and Garrus' romance so far and yes, ME1 LI get more sexy time.. BUT if you're talking about a "lack of love shown" then you're just wrong.. during the whole game there are nice little snippets  and exchanges that make it very clear that Garrus and Tali are in a relationship with Shepard, much more than Kaidan for example. Kaidan has some conversations, a dinner and sexy time but in between those scenes it never felt like they were "together".

Would it've been nice if they made a similar romance scene for Garrus & Tali? Of course... speaking from game making experience however, creating this specific content takes a lot of time and resources and they had to make some cuts..

So sex scene or no sex scene, I think Garrus' romance was better executed than Kaidan's and Ashley

Actually, the funniest thing....

My first playthrough from ME1 to 2 to 3 was Liara in 1, Tali in 2 and 3. But, my second playthrough I stayed loyal to Liara in 2 - so the end of 3 was freakin hilarious when I went to talk to Garrus and Tali was there! They were totally making out! Awesome! Well, weird, but hinted at in the ship-board chatter if you pay attention to Tali's ambient stuff (She was on the com to Garrus and asked if he ever felt alone, and says that at least Liara "can eat their food.").

I actually was kind of embarrassed at first, amused, and then I thought it made sense that two characters that were so cool would probably hook up if left to their devices. Good match, I say.

And I do have to say that Tali got more playful banter than Liara did - even on missions.  Tali started some innuendo and Ash is all "Can you guys talk about that later?"  LOL! And the conversations where she emphasizes that she loves you, like the one near the memorial at the elevator on the Crew Deck.  Liara comes across much colder except for the actual love scene and the one where she sits in your lap for a sec.

 I am so bored with my Kaidan romance after Thane died, I feel like it is lacking severely compared to my Garrus romance. With Garrus, I felt I had his attention, his protection, his loyalty, and especially his unconditional love.

I felt pretty much the same.

Many Garrusmancers had that ideal after ME2 of Shep and Garrus as spectres, going around the galaxy righting wrongs and kicking ass together... well thats pretty much what ME3 is up to the last 10mins. 

Garrus has so much 'presence' on the ship talking with everyone and such. Its like he owns the place just as much as Shep. We got to be the most awsome badass and flirty couple for 40 hours of game. So mission accomplished in my book.

If you're complaining that you didn't get to see them actually having sex, just grow the hell up.

If you want to say, for example, that Thane got the shaft in terms of romance-able dialogue and whatnot, fine. If you want to say Jack got two slightly different scenes and that's it, I'm with you. If you want to say that tali's or Garrus's romances got the short end of the stick because you didn't see Tali's un-clothed ass, grow up.

Currently going through my first FemShep playthrough with a Garrus romance, and I gotta say, its pretty great. Compared to Ashley, there just seems to be a lot more dialogue that incorporates their relationship, and it just feels more...real? They actually feel like a couple. I would liked the detail of the Liara romance, but I'm definitely not going to complain.

As for Tali...since you get her so late in the game, not exactly sure how that works out.

I can give an explanation as to why you might not be able to continue with Thane, Jack or Miranda (Whether or not I am right depends on your point of view)

Thane - His Kepral's syndrome has progressed to the point that he will no longer be able to go on missions with you.

Miranda - She's on the run from cerberus and wouldn't want to get Shepard harmed (And also she's wanted by the alliance because she was one of Cerberus' top agents)

Jack - She became attachted to her students and felt that they would be lost without her, and stayed with them, whether she wanted to be with Shepard or not.


And jacob?, I won't mention him because he cheated on FemShep (If you want to discuss that then make a new thread)

Seriously, all we get is a romance scene that last, about what, 5 seconds.

Why do the kaidan, Ashley and Liara romances get long romance scens while it's Tali and Garrus who don't have a long romance scene with their respective Shepard's

For Tali, I concur, but Garrus got some of the best non-romance content in the entire game.
Guess BW simply didn't want to show naked Dextros I guess ...

I agree.

I really do.

I understand in-universe why it didn't happen, but i also understand how some people might feel off-put by how some of them SEEMED less fulfilling and less important.

At the very least, in my view, your LI could at least be there in person at the battle For Earth, but that's just my view (if they're alive, of course).

So if people want to push for more interaction between old flames and shepard, more power to them.

But they just need to remember a romance is about a lot more than just the bedroom.

Can you actually be not loyal to your ME2 LI. (ok except Jacob problem) TYou cant. Your relationship from ME2 simply continues, its something that lasted even if Shepard was in prison. It never ended. As your ME1 LI you need to work on it again - to be together again. Thus we did reserved something more in return.  And I dont think extended sex scene is that reward.
You should be glad. Garrus and Tali romance had more normal/romantic scenes. And they even had better writing. 

Itsjust, Bioware will never offer a graphic explanation of a interspecies sex (blue humans aka asari excluded, because they practically looks the same as humans). So never. Too much even for them.

So theres no big sexytime with Garrus and Tali. but you seem to be able to headcanon it pretty well <_<.

I would not assume Bioware to have the ressources to make some naked Turian animations when theres still much fixing needed in the romance deparment elsewhere. 

Some people need more catering to their personal favorites then other... whatever floats your boat at this point.

 I will add:

Generally I was very happy about the whole Garrus romance thing I love how they pull all the stops and there was no beating around the bush and a lot of awkwardness (like in ME2 where he barely touched you).
But when I compare that to everything, well.. I don't know why Liara had so much "screen time" since I've never even liked her? I mean, I started in ME3, but she has a lot scenes with Shep, even if you don't romance her. I like (oh, very much so:wub:) the scenes with Garrus, but... damn, I hope the Romance DLC is NOT a rumor I want more scenes with him and it would be great if someone commented about relationship. You got only a "chocolate thing" from Tali and from Jack about biting.

But if I was a Thane-fangirl or Jacob-fangirl I would be incredibly pissed.

Oh seriously, we have nothing to complain about. Our LIs are squaddies, present in all three games, and heartbreakingly loyal and sweet. Nothing wrong with a fade to black considering the overall quality of the romance.

I know Tali arrives quite late into the game but Garrus as little romance interactions added to the friendship convos all along the game. He gives shep support and flirts with her here and there. She can also confort him about his family in a 'romanced' way. Its quite well done.

Theres no big sexytime scene with Garrus probably because it would have needed lots of animation work (lets face it, the kisses are horrible to see, the rest cant get any better).

Theres also the fact that since Garrus is on the Normandy since the start and that their romance dialogue implies they are having some alone times, a big 'I just realized I always loved you now lets have sex' moment like with the VS would have been completly out of character. Their sexytime scene is made to show them more as an established couple, which fits perfectly with their last convo where they talk about adopting babies and such.

to be honest I think many of the players who actually romanced Garrus are satisfied by what they got. Its often people who jsut look up the sexytime scene on youtube that have a problem with it...

Same with Tali, the bedroom scene at the end implies it heavily since she talks about being adapted fully to him now.  That pretty much says a lot must have happened off screen between them.  Also a lot of the Tali talks defintiely imply a stable relationship with Rannoch as a huge turning point for them.  In some ways Rannoch was more of the big Tali scene.
