As somone from the UK, I find I am never able to join games with my friends in the USA.
Whenever I try, I click Join game, it connect's to EA, I select the Multiplayer character I wish to use, then it just sits at the "Joining game..." screen as shown below (click to enlarge).
Likewise, if I create a New Match and they try to join, they always just get stuck on the "Joining game...".
It is somewhat fustrating, considering I can play other MP games with them just fine.
This is not due to an issue with my firewall setup, etc. - I can play games with other people (I assume from the UK and also definately Russia, based on some of the player's Origin ID's I have played MP with). I can also create a new match and have others join (just not friends from the USA).
Something I noticed that was odd, is that the issue has actually gotten worse since the demo was released. I used to occasionally be able to join some games that particular friends in the USA setup, however since the "Final" game was released I am not even to join games that they create.
I was wondering if BioWare was aware of these issues?
Also, a suggestion - please make it so that the "Joining game..." screen times out after a while, because at the moment that screen would quite happily sit there all day.
