Ok so its night time now and my party is up top fighting the dead, the guard comes and says they need help down below in the village,
so we head on down and start killing everything, then the dead stop attacking.... then nothing
so i head back up top and a few undead dudes are there so i kill them, but the battles does not stop,
there is nothing up top and nothing down in the village. did i miss something, the battle is still happen but there arnt any bad guys to kill anymore, everyone is just standing there saying "watch out there may be more" but no more come.

Are you still in combat mode at this point?

Open your map and see if there are any red dots, It may be possible that some got "stuck" somewhere preventing the quest to advance.



Other than that, try talking to Merdock or Sir whats his name at the top of the hill, they are still alive correct?

Happened to me, scout about you'll find the stragglers

Im not in combat mode,

I dont see any red dots anywhere and i have ran all over the place looking for someone that may have gotten stuck but nothing.



The major is still alive down in the village but everyone except for the dwarf and his guards up top are dead.

HA ! i found that sneaky bastard !

He was glitching out over one of the docks down at the lake, was stuck with his head out of the dock and body stuck under it

I am also stuck in battle at Redcliff. I have checked every dock three times, have gone back and forth to both battle points and can't seem to find anyothers. Any suggestions?

Do you have a mage who can cast earthquake, blizzard, tempest or inferno? Have your mage cast one of those over the various fringe areas where darkspawn lurk. The spell will either kill it or cause it to change behaviour and come unstuck.. Just rinse and repeat, moving over different areas until you kill the blasted thing.
