Buying packs fails. Started with the new special veteran pack but now has happened to my friend on the recruit pack. Either way, lame. 33,000 credits gone. 

More specifically, the credits at first seem to not be deducted, but rather I simply don't get the packs and get the error message. Then I suddenly can't play multiplayer anymore and get dropped. After I quit the game and restart the multiplayer issue is gone but the credits are also gone.

Happened to me too, but I was trying to buy a Spectre Pack so that's 60k and an hour gone for me. How do you contact customer service again?

Buying stuff constantly fails today. But I get the credits back.

But I cant even join a game anymore. When I try to join a game the "communicating" message in the top left corner don't even show. Nothing works. Not even the leaderboards.

Okay. Scratch that. I tried quiting and starting the game up again to get the multiplayer working (and it works now it seems), but now my credits are gone.

It happened to me a couple of times yesterday with the new Premium Veteran Packs, and today I don't think it's worked at all. At least 3 PV Packs have failed, as well as a Recruit Pack. I just bought a Spectre Pack using 'real' money, because when you do it checks for outstanding purchases, and that pack also failed. It failing with in-game credits i can sort of tolerate (barely, it's still not right), but failing with actual currency is just not acceptable.

Did your money get deducted from your account regardless?

it did yes, but i've just gone back to multiplayer to see if anything changed and the one i paid with real money for has, after about 10 attempts by the game to check for outstanding purchases, unlocked properly. it's something at least.

happen exactly the same to me... when my purchase fail i cant even join a game, cant create a game, not even look at my leaderboard score... i need to log out my PSN account and log-in back to get it work again...

same thing is happening to me, except when lof off and log back on, it still will not let me perchase packs, create match, join a game, it does not want to work, all i get is the little communicating message.

I can buy packs now, but the 60k I blew on the spectre pack is still gone. Contacted EA Game Advisor and he told me to post my problem here.

This is ridiculous. More than half the time I am unable to buy packs. Will this get fixed?

same here, it just really hurt me because i spent all day earning those credits from playing countles bronze matches

Same deal for me, but I used real money (not credits) to purchase the Veteran Special & Spectre packs...both transactions went through, I was charged, but after multiple attempts I still don't have new items in my loadouts.

Contacting the HELP Desk pointed me here...seriously, they said "It's a know issue..." and they're working to resolve.

Yeah I've lost a few credits from packs being bought and nothing appearing....it does suck when it happens working hard for those packs

Happening to me now...might have to switch back to XBOX for a while...I love PS3, but these credits are hard earned....& forget about spending $ on it, had it taken real world funds i would be livid!!!!

Happened to me with at least two or three recruits, two veterans, and one premium veteran. I've taken a break from MP until they fix these issues.

The same problem happen to me, I lost Spectre Kit, and Recruit Kit so I gave up.  I've stop playing Mass Effect 3 for a week since i've encountered that bug.   <_<

you actually get the pack that you bought, assuming that you only attempt to buy one, if you check your equipment tab you can see an increase in equipments. It leads to disconnection if i try to keep playing when i fail to buy pack. The not quite so solution before they patch it is to quit the game entirely when you fail to buy a pack, then reload the game and you should find that you have obtain items and lose the right amount of credits

Not true Wings. If it were, in fact, adding to your equipment, it would be denoted as "NEW" where applicable. That, however, isn't the case here...for everyone.

This pretty much killed MP for me. I don't think I'll be coming back, too many good games out there...

When it says that an error occurred I know I'm about to lose connection. If I exit the game before then and come back I then can buy packs but it only works...every other day. So, hopefully they have this issue fixed soon.

So what are our options now? I've lost a specter (60k), veteran (20k) and the limited ed veteran (33k)...all taken from me without giving me anything. EA should really fix this, the uncredited exp is bad enough when you get disconnected. I makes me feel like I'm wasting so much time for NOTHING!
