Yup, near selling the game, the singleplayer is fairly lack-luster and now, the only fun part of the game is broken.

I was not planning on buying the game. Played the multiplayer demo and had a blast. Bought the game on day one. Chugged through the single player and was not too disappointed, except for the lag and framerate in parts. Then I pop on the multiplayer and it has been nothing but frustration. It is sad when a demo runs smoother online then the actual finished product.

 Same here.  I bought a Spectre pack, credits were deducted and no items were recieved.  I saw the cards too and then the game crashed.  When i rebooted credits were gone and I know the items weren't there because 1 was a quarian infiltrator and another was a carnifex upgrade.  I was told to post here.. Help please

For a couple days it was taking my credits and now it freezes everytime I try to buy anything. (300,000 credits)

i had this issue a couple of times today as well apart from i spent really money on them i contacted ea thay told me to contact psn and thay told me to contact ea i dont mind loosing ingame credits but reall money is a bit too far

Okay. I just spent real money on a veteran pack and 2 Spectre packs and keep getting the error message. I'm on PS3. So, posting here helps me how exactly? Misery loves company?

I keep losing my recruit packs all the time, so far nothing with the upper packs. Is bioware doing this to me on purpose? Do they want me to stop being cheap?

When this happens, you didn't lose your credits. You successfully bought a pack, but without seeing the actual "opening" process, you'll never notice what you unlocked, unless you pay attention to your inventory.

So what is the point of this board again, if we can't get those credits back? Are there any moderators here? or this is just a place to comfort you in knowing that you are not alone when EA/Bioware took your credits

OK.. so i've had the same problem with buying packs... Have had THREE premium spectre kits fail with credits and another TWO fail with real money... thats 300,000 credits and $10 that this game has ripped me off... i am thourghly unimpressed... Something needs to be done and done now... the mulipalyer is the best part of this game and not being able to buy anything and having to play with very basic equipment and mods is frustrating... i request, nay DEMAND that this problem is rectified or the mass effect community will dry up and die... JUST FIX IT ALREADY... how hard can it be...

I've never lost a pack using in game credits to date (knock on wood) but I have lost two of the premium spectre packs that I paid for with real money. It's very frustrating that this issue seems unimportant.

I experienced exactly the same... 360,000 credits gone...

I bought one Premium Spectre Pack for $2.99 this past Friday (Apr. 13).  Today is Tues. Apr. 17 and I still have not received it yet.  I've reported this issue to EA Support and have a case number.  They told me that they are waiting for Bioware to fix this problem before they will compensate me for my loss of money.  I will try my best to be patient but EA and Bioware will not be receiving anymore money from me for Reinforcement Packs until this problem is resolved to my satisfaction.

Bought two resurgance packs from PSN, took the money but I didn't get my items. Looked for new items in my loadouts, but nothing. Veteran and Spectre packs were fine though.

Same thing just happened to me. I contacted EA support through their live chatand they told me that the Resurgence DLC was free and should not have been charged. I tried to explain to them that it was an item pack and I was told that there was not an item pack called Resurgence, even after trying to show them copies of the purchase conformation emails that Sony emails when buying stuff off PSN. The guy told me there was nothing they could do and to contact Sony support.

Just had this EXACT same thing happen to me a few minutes ago. Took the money from my PSN "wallet", but got nothing.

Same with me. Don't buy the new packs with $$ it will take it

Edit:

On the phone with EA support right now.  He doesn't believe there is a resurgence pack for sale and he is looking into it.  He tried to have me call PSN but i fended it off.

Just got off from speaking with an EA support guy online. He said that enough reports are coming in that the engineering team is working on it. Initially, he said to go into main menu, downloadable contents, the resurgence pack (free). But with no downloadable content option, they have to work on something else. But rest asured, they know about it and are working on it. The pack is also no longer available in the multiplayer store FYI because of this issue.

Had the same thing happen. It seems they are not aware of the various packs we can buy in the game. They seem to think the Resurgence Pack we are having problems with is actually the DLC expansion.

i have been having this problem a lot as well, but the purchases are actually going through. problem is, they wont take effect until you exit to the dashboard and reload the game and if you didnt get an item that flashes the "new" indicator, such as a new character or weapon, you have no idea what you got. a lot of the times i just get upgrades, crap like rockets, or customization options for characters i dont use that often.

Can someone please post a link to where we go complain. I had lost a veteran's pack worth of credits the other day and figured it's okay I'm playing a ****ty game that they're still trying to fix. But right now 4/19/12 between 11:30-11:40 a.m. I lost 5k credits from trying to buy a Recruit pack so I want to call EA or contact them online here and just keep doing it over and over until I get my 25k credits back. Please, link, number, anything.

Also refused to disclose what third-world country the support was coming from. I saw a pic of a 'tech' trolling a customer the other day, thought it might happen, but my tech was all business. =/ =/

This is still happening to me. No pack will purchase. Every attempt fails. The game takes the credits away anyway. Not initally though, at first it looks like they subtract and then reapply. However when you log out and then log in later those credits are gone as if the purchase did not fail.
