Did they honestly think stuff like this wouldn't come back to bite them?

At this point, Bioware is going to have to do a hell of a lot of straight talk (without the PR bullsh*t) to convince me to purchase DLC of any sort.

"[The presence of Rachnii] has huge consequences in Mass Effect 3. Even just in the final battle with the Reapers"

How is this even remotely true??? I got a few lines of text that tells me about Rachnii engineers working on the Crucible? That counts as "huge consequences"??? I didn't event see them at all!

Agreed.  This is one of the worst lies of all--and one that was spread in-game in Mass Effect 2

People already have. You're all incredibly late to the game.

Great interview, my hype for Mass Effect 3 is beyond anything else... I've become bored with games, maybe I'm just depressed with waiting for ME3.

it hurt a little reading that

Apparently we all got defective games, or maybe Mac Walters was playing the game in his mind and forgot to put those things in the actual game!

Add this to the pile of lies which have spewed from the mouth of Bioware.

Hold the line.

Doesn't make it any less important.  Apparently other people have not read it.

Yeah in my playthrough, Hackett said that the Rachnii were helping to work on the Crucible. And then later in the game when I asked Hackett about the Rachnii, he said something to the effect of; "Forget about that plan.It didn't work out."
Mind you, I killed the Queen in ME1.So I'm guessing the Reapers turned her into a husk but kept her intelligence in tact for her appearance in ME3? Because even my Shepard says "I killed her" when you meet up with the Rachnii Queen  in ME3.
Doesn't make any sense.
