He....he baked you a cake? He never baked ME a cake. <sniffle>

Then again, not sure if I'd like a cake baked by a Salarian. As Javick says, 'They eat flies.'

The flies are mainly for added protein, and texture.

Two:

Citadel DLC: After Brooks tells you that the clone wouldn't have saved her:

Shep: "They can't clone everything."

And, the very very end.

"I...don't know..."

“I’ll be locked and loaded next time you need some killing done”…Zaeed Massani

Too bad Robin Sachs is no longer amongst us to voice such badass characters like Zaeed

@wolfva2

Thats the point that some of us "haters" as you call us are trying to make. That the game *has* great moments, great lines, great characterization, great emotional moments that just begs the question why or how the game had its ending written itself into a corner. Of why so many examples of brilliance become overshadowed by a single act of immense stupidity.

It's not that we hate the game, we love it, (or at least speaking for myself, *I* love it) and there are more than just a few moments that have imprinted themselves in my psyche and will stay with me to my grave, but its a marred product.

To answer the OP, the *entire* "Refusal Speech".
Had that been a prelude to a unified galactic victory over the Reapers, even if Shepard and the Normandy and crew is destroyed and killed it would have been a true sacrifice and victory, and one more palatable to me, and I believe to many others as well.
I would certainly raise a fist to Shepard and the Normandy had that been the case.

As is, without MEHEM, playing ME3, experiencing all of the above *great moments* and then getting the Hudson-Walters ending, just make me feel dirty that no bath can cleanse.

ps: And by "feeling dirty" I meant it as that *my Shepard* became a Benedict Arnold, a Vidqun Quisling, a Jane Fonda, a Judas Iscariot ... because I betrayed everything I fought for to kowtow to the Catalyst's Aldof Hitler.
"Do this, kill yourself (or in one case, atempt to) and we'll let you live."

The whole final exchange when Peace is made on Rannoch.

Legion - Error, copying code is insufficient. Direct personality dissemination is required. Shepard Commander I must go to them. I'm. I'm sorry. It is the only way.

Tali - Legion, the answer to your question was Yes.

Legion - I know Tali. But thank you. Keelah Se'lai!

Raan - We have taken heavy losses. I don't know if we can . . . Where are we supposed to go?

Geth Prime - You are welcome to return to Rannoch Admiral Raan. With us.

Shep - Legion?

Geth Prime - No I am sorry commander. Legion sacrificed itself to give us all intelligence. It will be honored.

And with that 300 years of stupidity ends.

Shepard: "This bond that ties us together is something the Reapers will never understand. Its more powerful than any weapon, stronger than any ship. It can't be taken or destroyed. The next few hours will decide the fate of everyone in the galaxy; every mother, every son, every unborn child. But take heart, look around you. You're not in this fight alone. We face our enemy together and together we will defeat them."

Shepard: "I fight for freedom, mine and everyone's. I fight for the right to choose our own fate. And if I die, I'll die knowing I did everything I could to stop you. And I'll die free."

THIS was the biggest piece of space magic :wizard: in the entire game.

@Remy, do you find that powerful or inspirational or both? Because I do not care for the peace outcome, its too sickeningly optimistic.

"That's an order, EDI. A moral one" - Shepard when evacuating EDI in Priority:Earth after EC.

Beats everything else, even "This isn't about strategy or tactics. This is about survival. We fight or we die".

Well, i'm still torn between "moral order", "we fight or we die" and this one.

Refusal Speech is the best dialog bar none...even with Bioware's massive middle finger and trolling after it. It's worth picking it just to see Shepard being Shepard one last time. But after what the good Maxter posted... I can't argue with that. I concede.

I feel dumb, but I don't remember who says this or what the context is.  Can you elaborate?

Javik: Stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls, and ask the ghosts if honor matters. The silence is your answer.

Javik imo has some the most intense and powerful lines. The one before you land on Thessia is good too.

Javik: As I said steel yourself many more will be lost.

Shep: He's right Liara you caould spend days reading casualty reports.

Liara: I'm sorry but I just can't be so callous.

Javik: War does not always give you a choice.

Great dialogue exchange. Last line clinches it perfect delivery.

If I were Shepard really, I would say that line just like Shepard at that moment. Ending choice was really tough for me whatever others  think. It's true that they don't really give much differences in ending cutscenes and all but the implications on the galaxy behind those choices are vastly different, I think. I guess it's just depending on how you see the ending.

Yep, I'm one of very rare people who are moderately satisfied with the endng.

Also "He's wrong. Dead Reapers are how we win this"

"Normal is the best revenge."

It's not super inspirational, but it kept me on track for a Destroy ending. Nothing else gains you a more or less "normal" aftermath than that.

Wrex:  I'm sorry, Shepard, but their listening to everything we say.  I like my Salarian Liver raw.

Javik:  He is correct.  It was a .... delicacy in my cycle.

The looks on the salarians' faces is priceless.

Grunt:  We stay, Aralahk Company dies!  We clear?!

WTH?! The Grunt from ME 2 would have RELISHED that big of a fight...
