I have my Radial Menu (L2) set to toggle (since i spend about half the time in a battle paused in that menu) and i've noticed that sometimes (rarely) after loading a save file, the pausing in the radial menu is backwards. The menu will be displayed but the game is unpaused, and when I hit L2, the menu disappears and the game pauses. It's fixable by reloading my save file but that is frustrating.
Anyone else ever have this problem?

yep. Reloading is the only thing i found works. Think it happens when the framerate drops on the ps3 and you try to pause.

I've had it happen mid game myself, I usually can fix it by either hitting the start button or the PSN button, for whatever reason that seems to fix it for me. Try that next time it happens and see if it works for you.

It happened to me too - I think i reversed when I brought the radial menu up just as it went into a cutscene, it then dropped out the cutscene with the menu up but the game not paused. L2 reversed the situation as you said such that it was paused without the menu on display.
Pressing the start button sorted it for me.

Resetting the controller settings to default fixed this for me

same problem, it's happened four or five times. The first couple times i reloaded from the last save, but the last ones i have been able to fix it by pressing the start button to bring up the save/load option then hitting start again.

Actually if you just go into your inventory it corrects it. If you didn't notice you can still select stuff on the radial menu.

Thats happened to me as well. I have fixed it by reloading. Gonna try the start button deal if it happens again.

I've had this happen too. The last time it did it for me was when I was on my way to kill the archdemon. I was in the elven area of denerim, the one in charge elf just said "omg they're attacking" and I ran around the corner and an ogre was smashing its way through a barricade. Just as it came through, I hit the L2 button to pause and toss out some grenades, and that's when it happened to me. I was able to correct it by going into my inventory and coming back out. The time before that was too long ago to remember and I think I had to reload for it.
